14/07/2026: I come to Byens Mad & Vinbar about every other week, and there is a good reason why I keep coming back. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. Cozy, relaxed and with attentive service that always makes you feel welcome. The staff is both competent and passionate, and they are good at recommending the right wine for the food. The food is of a really high standard, and the ingredients are clearly selected with care. If you only have to try one dish, let it be their tartare. It is without a doubt one of the best I have had. Perfectly balanced, full of flavor and beautifully presented. If you are looking for a place with good food, excellent wines and an atmosphere where you want to linger a little longer, then I can only give Byens Mad & Vinbar my warmest recommendations. It is a place that is quickly becoming a favorite, and at least it has become so for me.

09/07/2026: Nice little café with a good selection of food and drinks. I had a burrata sandwich that was delicately prepared and very good. The coffee was excellent (a flat white for me), and the service was friendly.

17/05/2026: We have been there a lot and online their breakfast buns a lot. Sadly the quality changed over the time but the reason for my feedback are 3 experiences we had lately within a group of mum Friends and as a Family. Our 1 year old was not welcome to drink out of his water bottle (I also ordered some milk for him), because we are not allowed to bring anything from outside. Another time I was there with a toddler and highly pregnant buying a coffee to go. Around 15 min later I asked to urgently use their toilet (pregnancy bladder) and was told that only playing clients are allowed to use that service. Although I mentioned that I just bought something and am willing to just pay for the toilet use, I was told I have to find another place. We thought that over all they were quite arrogant and the tone cleary told us that we are not welcome here. We will choose another Café, as the food and coffee is good average, which can be found many places in Køge.

07/09/2026: ​Da Pino delivers authentic Italian food in a class of its own, whether it's for busy weekdays or life's big parties. ​The menu offers everything from excellent, crispy pizzas – which were a huge success for the 30th birthday – to elegant and tasty tapas dishes that set the perfect setting for the christening. It's clear that the ingredients are cared for; especially the freshly baked bread, which is made from scratch every single day, elevates the experience to a level above the usual takeaway. ​Local passion, genuine Italian taste and always high quality. Da Pino is without a doubt the best bet for a bite of Italy!

24/04/2026: Was supposed to pick up a package yesterday, April 23. But it was closed! A small note on the door where several people went to look. Maybe they should have informed their package suppliers that it was closed, so that people don't choose Herfølge as a package shop during that period. In return, we got a ride to Ringsted!

19/05/2026: Nice cafe in beautiful surroundings. Good homemade cake. Unfortunately they serve coffee from a machine at barista coffee prices. Crazy. The staff were not welcoming at all and seemed downright angry.. What could really give the cafe a boost was if they served barista coffee and not coffee from a coffee machine

29/07/2026: Nice people, good atmosphere, you get a lot of food for the money, especially the box is big and or fries, even a small tray is like a big one everywhere else, so a cozy little place in Køge

24/06/2026: Wow really good service The staff were super nice and welcoming and the food tasted absolutely amazing. The shawarma was fresh, juicy and full of flavor you feel welcome from the moment you enter can definitely recommend and I will definitely come again

16/08/2026: Very delicious food and big portion sizes! We were very positively surprised and cannot understand some of the negative reviews here at all! The food and drinks also didn't take long to be made and to be brought to the table. The staff was also very kind.

12/08/2026: A really good place for a weekend with girlfriends :) Perfect for enjoying good food. I ordered a pasta dish with shrimp for 189 kr., but unfortunately there were only 4 shrimp in the dish. It was a bit disappointing, especially when it's a pasta dish with shrimp. In Ringsted, the pasta dishes always came with a piece of bread, but in Køge we didn't even get a slice of bread. On the other hand, the ice tea was really good - I definitely can't complain about that! 😄 The atmosphere is really cozy, and the place is perfect for a cozy weekend with girlfriends. The brunch also looks really delicious, so next time I'll definitely try the brunch! Easy location and good parking.

22/04/2026: Today we had a really good experience 🤍 We went out to eat in a cozy place, where both the food was top notch and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating 🙏 We ordered the “classic menu” and it was simply fantastic! 😋 Everything was fresh, tasty and made with great care. We will definitely come again and can highly recommend the place ✨

20/08/2026: Great, filling up was quick and almost maintenance-free. The station is invisible from the highway...

16/08/2026: Showers are 30 CZK at the checkout, parking is for a maximum of 12 hours, otherwise the nasty guys will come and write you a fine, toilets are free at the gas station, and in the parking lot via SMS.
