05/05/2026: We had a lovely day. Where we got a walk in the park with red deer and wild boars, who were walking around freely! Afterwards there was a tour of the museum. It was a really nice exhibition! At the end, the table was set for dancing and eating.

26/05/2026: The food was fresh and delicious, well-seasoned, and, contrary to my usual experiences with Thai food, very mild in terms of spiciness. The restaurant wasn't very busy today, which is a shame, because anyone who gets a craving for Asian cuisine while on vacation won't go wrong here. We were the first guests today, and the buffet was freshly prepared after we ordered. The service was friendly, and the delicious food perfectly rounded off our already wonderful day! We'll gladly come back again for another meal. It's also worth mentioning that the place is clean, including the restroom, which can be conveniently locked with a small hook.

26/05/2026: Today we went to Thaihuset. Upon entering, I thought, "I hope this isn't a mistake." The restaurant was empty, which isn't usually a good sign. But I was wrong! I've never had such tender and juicy beef at an Asian restaurant. Then we moved on to the chicken. The selection was quite ample, and everything was simply delicious. We could have had dessert, but there was just no room left. Instead, we had some of the fresh fruit. One thing is for sure: this wasn't our last visit to this restaurant! The ambiance is clean and bright. Incidentally, we weren't the only guests for long, and that's no surprise.

03/01/2026: We arrived at 7:45 PM but couldn't get Bowls because they didn't have rice. So ordered 2 chicken skewers which were ice cold and 2 times fries which were so soft. We ordered one flute with ham and cheese but the daughter found some other meat in it. A really bad experience, always thought Varde was better than Esbjerg but maybe not anymore, it won't be long before we come again

24/05/2026: The food was good and the wait was quick (10~20 minutes). The price is fair, probably because it's out of the city center 😅😄 There's also a kids menu 👍

17/05/2026: I was there to eat with my family and we asked one of the waiters if they had truffle oil he said no he went into the kitchen and then came back with a truffle oil which turned out to be over 1 year old. It expired on 1/31/2025 and we ate there on 5/16/2026

30/12/2025: If you manage to order before the fireworks, you'll see the rush for table reservations and takeout orders. Pure chaos in the restaurant, and the waitress is trying to handle everything, which inevitably leads to waiting times. Unfortunately, our table was right next to the salad bar and order counter, making us feel a bit cramped – a shame. Regarding the food: The pizzas varied in crispiness, but when they weren't overcooked, they were tasty. The gyros with tzatziki was delicious, but the portion felt small; the accompanying selection from the aforementioned salad bar somewhat compensated for this. For the price, the food could definitely be better, but the good service made up for it to some extent.

03/12/2025: We were on holiday here and discovered this restaurant on our last day – the food was so delicious, the portions were really generous, which was important to us. The service was incredibly friendly and we received our food very quickly. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented! We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

06/05/2026: Then comes May and then it's closed and then it says it's open again at 4 pm. Now it's 4:17 pm and it's not open now. LOSER PLACE

23/04/2026: Arrived at 7:35 PM. Had to pay full price for a dry fried chicken we had waited 20 minutes for. Was offered a new one, but they closed at 8:00 PM and I was on the go myself, so I didn't want to wait any longer. Then I could get a credit, but I'm not from the area. Overheard that the chicken had been finished and taken out, so it had become "cold" so it had to go back into the fryer to heat up again (as several other customers came in while the chicken was being finished on the plate.) If you get cucumber salad included in the price, it wasn't included on the plate either. Took the dry breast meat for my dog, as it was far too dry and chewy to eat.

19/10/2025: We visited twice on our last vacation and were very impressed by the food and friendly service. We'll definitely stop by again for a snack next time.

21/05/2026: Disappointing Service for Day Visitors with Toddlers – Opaque Rules We wanted to go swimming here, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Although the facility generally makes a good impression, the swimming pool is absolutely not recommended for day visitors. We looked at the website extensively beforehand. Unfortunately, it wasn't clear anywhere that guests without accommodation are only allowed to use the pool from 12:00 PM onwards. For families with a toddler in the morning, this time is completely inconvenient and difficult to manage. When we arrived, it was also made unmistakably clear that day visitors were not really welcome. To make matters worse, card payments weren't accepted. In the end, everything led us to decide against it. We definitely won't be trying again. There is a complete lack of transparency and family-friendliness for visitors from outside the hotel.

06/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Landal. We had a very beautiful (private) cottage in a lovely spot by a pond. Nice playground for the little ones. The indoor playground is also great fun, and there is a nice tennis court and gym attached. Very well maintained. It is a shame that everything in the plaza closes very early. Swimming pool at 6:00, snack bar at 6:30. The shop often closes at 3:00. Activities like car rentals also close at 3:00. Bowling opens at 3:00 but only stays open until 7:00, and then you have to leave immediately. The same goes for the arcade. We had all bought tokens and weren't even allowed to finish our game while we were in the middle of it. I certainly think that at a park like this, everything should be open until at least 8:00. (Maybe it is the early season?). There is no cozy plaza like we Dutch are used to from Landal. And for a glass of wine, I paid 9.00 one time and 12.00 the next. When checking out, we had to wait until 9 o'clock to hand in our wristbands; fortunately, we were slightly delayed with packing up, otherwise we wouldn't even have been able to leave early. The area is beautiful, supermarkets are reasonably priced and close by.

The sign hung crooked, the door creaked like a horror movie, and there was a strange smell of burning without anything clearly being prepared. But I, naive and sushi hungry, entered Kaito Sushi with hope in my heart and a rumbling in my stomach. The rice was dry, crumbly, and crumbled just looking at it. The fish was... strange. It had a smell that reminded me most of a port in July, and the kind of sheen on the surface that you usually see on old mackerel fillets in oil. What was supposed to be salmon tasted like a mix of canned tuna and defeat The avocado in my maki was brown. Not that slightly brown – but like: “Hey, I was cut 2 days ago and have been in the fridge without a cover”-brown. There was also a tempura roll where the tempura was so soggy that I honestly thought it was wet bread until I took a bite and was like, "Oh my God!" Hygiene The toilet? No thanks. If you value your health, don't go. There was no soap, the mirror was covered in... something, and the paper towel holder was hanging by one screw. The floor felt damp. Not wet. Damp tS The prices: The insult is complete When you pay 198 kroner for a deluxe menu, you expect to at least leave the place without regrets and an upset stomach. The only "deluxe" thing about the experience was how much I was ripped off. I would have rather spent that money on 7-Eleven sushi, and that's saying a lot. I left the place feeling like I paid for an assault on Japanese food Conclusion: 0 out of 5 stars – would rather sp I don't know who owns Kaito Sushi, but if they read this: please find another calling. 28/04/2026: Every year when we go camping in Blåvand, this restaurant is a must. The food is incredibly delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are absolutely fair.
