Bundsbæk Mølle Ringkøbing-Skjern

A beautiful historic mill, lovingly maintained by a local association. The members are very friendly and informative. There's no entrance fee, but donations are welcome. There's also a blacksmith's shop where you can purchase handcrafted items in exchange for a donation. These aren't your typical tourist trinkets, but truly unique pieces. There's also a small shop selling handcrafted goods and other special items. We didn't try the café. Additionally, there was a photo exhibition featuring historical portraits of people in everyday clothing, without any prior "dressing up" in Sunday best or anything like that. Very authentic and well worth seeing.

Beautiful museum, and we also enjoyed a nice walk in nature.

Lovely place and beautiful surroundings which are also free. The sweet volunteers who run the place make it definitely worth timing your visit with a day that is open for the exhibition/the mill which you can see up close in action. It is a really nice place! We topped off the day with an ice cream, freshly brewed coffee and homemade cake in the coffee shop for almost no money.

Cozy little place, free access to the things that are kept well maintained by the enthusiasts in the area 🙂 we were lucky enough to stop by one of the days the mill was running!

There is a fantastic walk along the mill lake and the bog, with a footbridge the entire way. The bridge was established by volunteers for the mill.
