20/07/2026: This beautiful resort is set in a wonderfully quiet location, surrounded by nature and tucked far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are lovely, the buffet is delicious, and the staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming.
The absolute highlight of the place, however, is the central courtyard, which is home to a delightful family of deer and goats. It is a truly wonderful feature that makes the stay extra special. On top of that, the grounds offer plenty of space for relaxing walks, a peaceful lake equipped with hammocks, a small football pitch with goals, and even a dedicated campfire spot to enjoy in the evening.
You certainly won't get bored here. It is definitely worth planning a stop at this venue, especially if you are traveling around Denmark by car.
06/04/2026: Stayed a few days here. We had booked a spacious double room, and have to say that it wasn't very spacious. It took some time to get hot water for the first time in the mornings, but after letting quite a bit of water run, we got pretty hot water. But the room was very clean and comfortable, and we were happy with it.
The staff were friendly. The breakfast was okay (for vegetarians). They did offer dinner buffet, but it looked like most of the dishes were meaty.
The location is great - it is quiet and 30 min drive to Odense or Kolding.
The most important thing to note is that the hotel closes at 9PM, so there won't be anyone to help if needed after that.
