Cafe Amalie Lyngby-Taarbæk

Amalie’s pasta, a sure hit! Simply tastes so good! Ordered an Amalie’s burger and an Amalie’s pasta (of course). The steak was cooked well. Pink in the middle. And once potato boats, on the side. (We probably expected most of all that it was “fries”… and a very indifferent side dish, of 2 potatoes that were cut out… but tasted good) Always come back to Café Amalie! So delicious that place!!!

A small glass of their good mulled wine and 3 apple slices. There was a really good atmosphere and a lot of people, so I had to wait a bit for the service, but on the other hand it was nice to relax between all the Christmas shopping. I have since enjoyed one of your salmon sandwiches, which I find to be the best in town (and for the price). I come here often, and in the summer it is nice to be able to sit outside, either in the courtyard or outside the Café. The noise level can be high when football is shown on TV.

After the new co-owner, it has become a lot better, I personally think, with very delicious food and good service! Huge recommendation from here

We feared there would be "bodega conditions" with smoke and half-drunk noisy people in there. On the sign outside it was said cake of the day with coffee/tea for 49 kr. Pleasantly surprised, delicious piece of forest berry cake with good coffee with heated milk and optional tea (free choice between 9 different types of tea). Helpful people and good service. However, as feared, quite high noise level so difficult to carry on a conversation. Otherwise a positive experience. This summer we will try to sit in their courtyard.

Nice brunch, several different ones to choose from. Been there several times.

I was at Cafe Amalie with my 3 girlfriends. When we came in we were greeted by a nice staff. I ordered a chicken sandwich and my girlfriends ordered a brunch with pancake and an Amalie pasta. The food came quickly and it tasted fantastic. The staff was keen to see if we needed anything. The price was also quite good compared to what you get. It's not the last time we'll come back that's for sure

Very cozy on a Saturday evening with company, people in the bar area, outside and in the cozy courtyard.

It's really a place I like a lot. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and I'm also very happy with the service. The decor is very traditional, and it makes me feel calm and comfortable. The fact that the place also has a garden makes it even more cozy. Thank you, Café Amalie. ☺️
