We got a great dish of the week at a very fair price in Øens Madhus, which is part of Generationernes Hus. The food tasted great, and it was nice that we could play a game while we ate. A really good experience.

Øens Madhus is really nice if you want to eat deliciously and informally. It is very child-friendly as there is space and the children have the opportunity to walk around and explore the place.

17/08/2026: The beer selection is great. The prices are Danish (i.e. 25-30% more expensive than a Budapest pub at least). But it's acceptable if you consider that you're on vacation. Small ruin pub style but cozy :D
12/08/2026: We just stumbled in here as we wandered through the streets of Aarhus. Great staff, good drinks...it has that old world local charm.

21/08/2026: The cream buns are amazing. The ice cream is phenomenally good. The buns are outstanding and beat the other bakers by several lengths. The best buns I have ever bought 🥰
30/05/2026: We stumbled upon this little place by chance: delicious ice cream and desserts beyond our expectations!!! Open even when everything else was closed! Highly recommended!!!
