Delicious cultural venue with elbow room

If you’re into architecture as well as alternative places for the art and design community then you will love Godsbanen. They offer all kinds of events and workshops you can enjoy as well as a restaurant inside as well as some area for concert hall. From the outside it is adjacent to the train tracks, feels like a cozy artist commune from as you enter. There are areas to play basketball as well as skateboard! Amazing for the community and it is near the city centre and easy to get to. The architecture in and of itself is worth going to admire. From the outside is a bit like a cruise ship with portholes but cut off and you can enter in different ways, each gaining different elevation. If you walk up and out you can climb up and get a view from the bow side of the ship/ building and you can look inside to see the goingons. Inside is spacious and the natural light coming in through the portholes is lovely. From the main building you can walk into the artist studio areas, and there is also a small library which is neat! Lots of places to sit, and relax. Nice have a bit alternative architecture and community space for the city to share. At least come for a drink or stay for a show or activity. Dog and kid friendly for sure.

Very special place worth a visit many small cafes and it is so cozy

Ok. We were at an event where we were 80 participants. The food was actually quite OK, but not coordinated properly. Salad, that is, the cold part of a main course, came last?

Great place for both meetings and pleasure - inspiring environment

My son love coming here since he was 11 years. I enjoy their breakfast too but for me to go here alone I can't because the whole setting is not mine, sometimes bread are too dry, pancakes are dry, eggs mm I don't really fancy it. But their mushroom is good. Its good for group, family, and the building is interesting actually, so many activities goes on this building and is always clean but cold, so put on a warm jacket but summer time is okay. I don't have pictures but I was there today the 17th of May 2026 and there was free market too.

Cool places and nice atmosphere and vibe.. Will try more of the places in the future
