Wednesday evening with high sunshine and lovely food. Fish fillet was large and flavorful. The salmon from the Faroe Islands was also large and good. Lamb also from the Faroe Islands was also good. Full and large portions. The service was also quiet and calm and with Faroese charm. Can be recommended for the price.
Despite mediocre reviews, I decided to get food from the snack bar, which I think is the café here. The cheeseburger and bacon burger were really good. A good piece of meat on a nice bun, tasty sauce, and generously topped with tomato, cucumber, and lettuce. The fries weren't so good. Lots of brown, crispy, greasy fries. But the burger was filling, so I wasn't hungry. Still, quite pricey at €65 for 4 burgers and 3 fries. That makes the fries the most expensive for what you get: €6.70 for a portion without sauce.
We thought we would try "Fish'n'chips" in Restaurant Gyldendal. The ingredients were supposed to be from the Faroe Islands, and so we thought it had to be good. Positive surprise! Fantastic fish! When we asked, we were told that the fish also came from the Faroe Islands. It doesn't get much better than that!!!
