Ikast Svømmecenter Ikast-Brande

We went there twice during our holiday because we enjoyed it so much. The swimming pool offers a lot of play options for children. There are two slides, a climbing wall in the swimming area, a large inflatable animal, and 1m, 3m, and 5m diving boards. There's plenty for little ones too. Swimming aids in three sizes are available to borrow free of charge. There are also water toys, pool noodles, etc. However, the customs in Danish swimming pools are a bit different than in Germany. You have to wash completely, including your hair with soap, and without your swimwear; you can only put it on afterward. Everyone adheres to this rule because it allows for less chlorine to be used (a very nice staff member explained this to us). I would recommend packing plenty of towels or a bathrobe for the children, as the changing rooms are rather cold. And I would recommend a hairdryer if you have long hair; there's only one on the wall, and it's more suitable for short hair. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. We can also recommend the food.

Honestly, I can't quite understand the negative comments. The indoor pool offers a lot for kids. Both toddlers and older children will enjoy the slides, climbing structure, diving boards, free water toys, and more. Swimmers also have plenty of space to do their laps undisturbed. I personally appreciate that the existing rules (no cell phones, etc.) are enforced in a friendly but firm manner. All the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food service is also highly recommended. A wonderful afternoon for us and our baby (11 months old).

Best water park comes back 2-3 times straight to the top

You absolutely must visit this place for its Scandinavian-style sauna course!! The prices are reasonable, and I was extremely satisfied!!

We love being in Ikast swimming pool. It's nice that there is a slide, ropes to swing on over the pool, different depths, seesaws, climbing wall, etc. Nice place😊👍
