Møllers Fiskehus is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves fresh, flavorful seafood. The fish dishes are beautifully prepared, with the Fish & Chips offering a wonderfully crispy coating and satisfying flavor. The Stjerneskud, featuring fried fish fillets, smoked salmon, shrimp, asparagus, and caviar, is an especially tempting choice. Their homemade fish cakes and smoked fish add even more variety. With fresh ingredients, traditional craftsmanship, and excellent attention to quality, Møllers Fiskehus delivers a memorable seafood experience that is well worth enjoying.

We just got back from a fishing trip to Funen, and based on the reviews here, we drove across Funen to Moellers on our way back – we really wanted to stop by. As many here have already described it as "very rustic" – you shouldn't be squeamish... Everything is open, from the sales area to the "kitchen," and I've never seen cooks in sweatpants and a t-shirt... The toilet: The path leads you halfway past the open kitchen, past running washing machines and dishwashers, and if you take a wrong turn, you'll end up in what I assume is the office. There's a large campsite 200 meters before the shop – you're unlikely to find many Danes there – the menu is only in Danish, and only one server speaks English – you won't get any help or attention whatsoever – you either manage or you leave – a very poor showing for a shop that clearly depends heavily on tourism for its survival. ... We opted for a tapas platter for two, plus fries – the fries were amazing! :-) The tapas platter included two warm plaice fillets – they must have been belly fillets, because the breading was almost as thick as the plaice itself – our own freshly caught plaice had considerably more meat on them and much more flavor. Then there were two different fish salads, both rather bland – nothing special. There was a small pot of shrimp marinated in tomato sauce – I don't usually like that sort of thing, but my wife (who's Spanish) loves it – but after one shrimp, we both gave up... not our cup of tea. Then we had four scampi on the platter – unfortunately, they were cold. Anyone who's ever tried peeling scampi knows that it's already a challenge when they're hot – when they were cold, it was pure torture! As we understand it, scampi are fried in oil with garlic – neither of those things happened, and so the scampi tasted bland and tasteless :-( The quantity and price were excellent – ​​but that's no good if half of it goes back untouched. All in all, and as our conclusion: We've had it once, but we don't need to go back – there are many fantastic restaurants on the coast that easily outshine Moellers. You might spend more money there, but you also get significantly more as a guest... in every respect...

We picked up an excellent Fish tapas and Mediterranean tapas, very delicious food, both for fish and for sausage types, is intended for two people per tapas, you can't eat that, there is plenty for the next day's lunch too. The expedition is handled by a couple of fresh girls, who also helped get the food out to the car, We will definitely try that again, it was a thoroughly good experience.

We had a wedding on 08.08.26 with 70 guests and had the pleasure of having the food delivered from Møllers Fiskehus We were inspired to use Møllens Fiskehus for our wedding menu, as we had previously had a fish buffet from Badehotellet and therefore asked if they could deliver a buffet with fish and beef, as well as a starter and dessert, and a nightcap They were happy to do so and we can just say that everything was really good quality and there was plenty of food for all guests In addition, we have had fish in their shop in Båring a number of times which is always of good quality We are extremely satisfied and can only recommend Møllers Fiskehus, which is why they should get 5 stars from us
