Whenever we're in Denmark, a visit here is a must. It's one of those special places you look forward to for ages. The coffee is among the best we've ever had – prepared with love and always incredibly delicious. The lemon cinnamon rolls are an absolute highlight and a must-try every time. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, the location is beautiful, and the team is always friendly. You can immediately tell that quality and passion are paramount here. For us, this café is much more than just a café – it's a staple of our trips to Denmark. We love coming back every time and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Superb little coffee shop. The menu is very limited, but the quality is amazing. The "sandwich" (one of only 4 breakfast options) was superb. My wife said her granola and yoghurt was the best she'd had. The coffee and pastries were equally amazing. I'd come back to Aarhus just to eat here again.

Best experience of both Atmosphere, breakfast, coffee ..and not least the sweet smiling staff. It will be our regular Café here on Aarhus Ø ..

This is in my opinion the best coffee shop in Aarhus, the coffee is incredibly good and of good quality it is so clear to taste! The owner is very committed and all the employees are nice and service-minded.

15/05/2026: We had a bit of a mixed experience today at Rømer. We first ordered nachos. We got a small bowl with maybe 8-10 chips in total. Nicely said. The price was 95 kr. We expected a slightly larger plate for that price. It was incomprehensible that such a small bowl of chips could cost 95 kr. -!!!. We then ordered Tostadas. Both lime and coriander were missing. The waiter said that the coriander was at the bottom of the bowl, but there was no coriander. Fortunately, we were served fresh coriander afterwards because we asked for it. When we were going to order dessert, they already brought it, even though we had said that we would wait and order later. I think it was a bit of a shame. Unfortunately, we had expected a better experience. Otherwise, a very cozy place.
