Absolutely amazing place with the coziest atmosphere, not to mention the absolutely wonderful owner! He made us feel at home straight away. The food was so good. Croissants come straight from Paris, wow! I recommend everyone to go here. Many thanks for a magical experience.

Very cute café near a beautiful park with a lake... you can have a great breakfast here! The owner is incredibly friendly and generous. The granola, croissants, and Italian rolls are heavenly—and the coffee, too, of course! I would come back...

28/09/2025: Best sandwich in Copenhagen. I’ve been a regular for 3 years now and still the same amazing service, fantastic food for a great price. I have tried a lot of places - nothing has beat Hiko!
08/08/2025: I love your sandwiches, but maybe your employees need to be reminded of the do's and don'ts regarding hygiene. The young woman behind the counter was sweeping/washing the floor with gloves on in the back room when I came in. She then goes and washes her hands with the gloves on (just water, no soap) and is about to make my sandwich. She only changes when I ask her if she doesn't change her gloves before she starts making my sandwich. It probably wouldn't have happened if the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration had come for an inspection.. Get it fixed, it's unhygienic. But my sandwich tasted (as always) delicious!
