I don’t usually write reviews about the places where we eat, but in this case I felt I should because, unfortunately, our experience was far below what we expected. There were two of us, and we chose the tasting menu with wine pairing. We were particularly disappointed with the first courses. The cured ham with tomatoes was fine, nothing more, but being served raw radishes and carrots as one of the courses was honestly difficult for us to understand at a restaurant of this level and, especially, in this price range. We found it far too simple and lacking in preparation. The ravioli were good, and the chicken was undoubtedly the dish we enjoyed the most. However, we were very surprised that the French fries served with it appeared to be frozen, pre-packaged fries. At a restaurant of this standard and price point, we expected freshly prepared potatoes and a level of execution consistent with the experience the restaurant aims to offer. It may seem like a small detail, but within a menu at this price, we found it difficult to justify. As for the desserts, we are both people who absolutely love sweets, and it is extremely rare for either of us to leave a dessert unfinished. Yet this time, we both left our desserts because we simply did not enjoy them. We also did not feel that the wine pairing worked particularly well with the dishes. The only pairing that we felt was truly successful was the one served with dessert. I do want to point out that the service from our waiter was good, and we have no criticism whatsoever in that regard. Overall, considering the high price of the menu and the expectations created by a restaurant of this kind, we felt that the food simply did not live up to the standard we expected. It was not a matter of portion size, but rather the quality, preparation, and level of ingredients one expects when paying for an experience like this. Unfortunately, based on our experience, this is not a restaurant we would recommend.

Silo is undoubtedly one of Copenhagen's best restaurants, boasting excellent views and very good food and service. It's expensive, so reservations are essential.

Made an excellent Christmas lunch

Amazing view and great food. We went to Silo on our wedding anniversary. We bought the 4-course menu from Early Bird and also tried the lemonade and amaretto sour as a mocktail. The starter course with trout roe was really delicious and fresh. The other starter with new Danish potatoes and peas was amazing (especially the sauce). The main course with beef medallion was okay. I had to get my beef well done because I'm pregnant, so it was a little dry. But my husband got it medium rare, and it was still a bit chewy. Could have been a nicer cut. The strawberry dessert was amazing! Overall, a great food experience. The view is of course a huge bonus for the overall experience.

We celebrated my mother's 74th birthday. We were warmly welcomed. The location and view are spectacular! The food was overall good and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, they didn't pay attention to the birthday at all. They didn't put out a candle or sparklers, there was no treat from the place. I have higher expectations from restaurants like this. It took a very long time for the dishes to arrive. The prices are overall fair. The menu is not extensive enough in my opinion. But delicious.

Excellent restaurant, everything is top-notch: food, service, views. I've been to many rooftop restaurants, and they usually leave much to be desired and don't live up to expectations, trying to attract people only with the view. So, when I visited this restaurant, I was very surprised by their exceptional quality. The food is delicious, I highly recommend it :) P.S. As for the little things, please add handbag stands to the tables; I really missed that :)

I don't understand how people can say that the restaurant has good food. Do you have such bad restaurants in Denmark? The atmosphere, the view and the staff are brilliant BUT the food was not good.

We had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Silo. The restaurant is located in a striking modern building, and once you step inside, the interior design perfectly complements the architecture. The dining room itself offers an amazing atmosphere with massive windows that look out over truly spectacular, panoramic views of the city below. While the views are breathtaking, the service was even better. The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and professional throughout the entire evening. As for the food, the menu we chose was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Every single dish was beautifully crafted and presented: * A stunning, vibrant opener presented beautifully in a tin. * A fresh, delicate dish featuring peas, potatoes, and elegant floral touches. * The absolute highlight of the night, however, was the smoked meat, which was cooked to perfection and packed with incredible depth of flavor. * We finished the evening with a flawless, refreshing dessert that rounded out the meal beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional gastronomy, top-tier service, and unbeatable views.
