It's an excellent place and really the pistachio stands out. We visited the place three times during our stay and each time was worth it! Highly recommended.

The world's best weekend ritual! Skipper has become one of my favorite places in Østerbro. They serve the most delicious pastries in the coziest surroundings, and you are greeted by the sweetest staff. For the past year, we have shopped there every Saturday - and often Sunday too (who am I kidding...). Not once have we been disappointed in the slightest. The quality is always top-notch, and the staff is always ready with the biggest smile. If you haven't already visited this fantastic bakery, you are really missing out 🫶🏼

A good place to go for bread or pastries. The place is nice but very small, with only two tables and two chairs inside; I didn't see a bathroom for customers to use. We ordered four pastries and tea, to be served on the premises, and it cost €23. The tea was made with dried leaves, which is appreciated, and the pastries were very good.

Impact Roasters

01/12/2025: What a jewel of a find! One misty morning I went in search of coffee, and the only place open before 9AM on a Sunday was Impact Roasters. Located in the train station, I was served by sweet Samuel, and although I meant to take the coffee to go, I stayed for the soothing sounds of Ethiopian music playing. The coffee was terrific -- made of their freshly ground Ethiopian beans. The croissant was fresh & flaky, but the cheese and butter sandwich on a crunchy round roll with seeds on it was outstanding. What a great treat to have found this roaster!!
11/10/2025: Fruity, aromatic, rich Ethiopian espresso roasted and brewed by skilful craftsman here in Valby. The barista Christian is friendly and passionate about coffee. Hidden gem in an S tog station indeed - one that made me return here after spending 7 years away from Copenhagen!

09/08/2025: A quick visit, we were allowed to taste some wine by the glass. Not wines with particularly great intensity considering the price of 125 kr per glass, in terms of taste they disappeared immediately. The service was fine, but you felt that the clerk would rather be with his friends and pour wine for them...
01/04/2025: The guy working there gave us excellent service and was also very friendly. Definitely try the almonds he served because they are from spain and they are the best almonds for snacks. I spent 2-3 hours here as a tourist but if I lived in Copenhagen I would definitely be a regular here.
