Taverna Zorba Aalborg

The service was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is rustic. The food was very oily, lacked seasoning, and the side dish was lukewarm. Therefore, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Just visited the taverna and ate. And what can I say... a taverna. It could perhaps use a little more decoration. We sat downstairs, and it was almost full. The server (the owner?) came quickly, and after a little help, we agreed on what to order. One order of gyros and one mixed grill. We also had a portion of tzatziki. The food was delicately seasoned, or rather, sparingly spiced. The food was prepared in front of the guests. The gyros wasn't cooked on a spit (as I'm used to), but on a griddle.

Good Greek meal. Reasonably priced. Nice wine. Friendly service and very welcoming.
