25/11/2025: On a cold December day it was good to enter this cozy warm bar. Tucked just around the corner from the busy tourist street it feels like you are entering another better world. The menu of open faced sandwiches is varied and prepared fresh behind the bar. Our first Jul beer of the season was much appreciated. Service was swift, friendly and performed with a welcoming smile. Highly recommended.

08/09/2025: Located just off the main Nyhavn strip. Small, intimate restaurant serving up great open sandwiches. Very reasonably priced considering what you get. Good, friendly service. Only downside was card only payment and no WiFi to post this review.

01/03/2026: Yesterday my wife, our two children and I went to Bones in Skalborg. We have been there before with success – and fortunately it was again. We went classic with a good mix of Bones legs, ribeye and chicken tenders, combined with various side orders, salad bar and of course soft ice cream. And I have to say: It is solid. It tastes good. It is right off the road. There is not much controversy – you get what you expect, and it works. The meat was juicy, the food hot, and everything worked. The salad bar was filled quickly, and it was always nice and inviting. The waitress was sweet and accommodating, and you feel very welcome. For the kids it is a paradise. They love to get their own soda and make their own soft ice cream – and that is part of the experience. It is very American, and it “basks” through, but that is exactly what you come for. There is plenty of space in the restaurant, and it was easy to book a table. I made a reservation on Friday and was able to get a table on Saturday without any problems. So it's not hard to get a seat, even though it was still pretty full – which also shows that it's a popular place. All in all, a really nice family experience. You know what you're getting, and they deliver. Can definitely be recommended from here – especially for families with children

10/05/2026: Lovely place. Not crowded and nice surroundings with forest and golf course.

08/05/2026: Semi-expensive place with ok service with a coffee/cocoa machine that can't keep up with a small rush-in of 8 people.

29/03/2026: Was there for Sunday brunch. We arrived half an hour before the buffet closed but there was still fresh food. Not a buffet with many dishes but on the other hand of good quality and both tasty and appetizing. Hygiene is high and service good by nice young people.

05/10/2025: Bro.. when bartender tells me “I got no change” and throws my money back at me, like it actually is my problem that the place doesnt operate cash.. is weird, I didn’t try to trade beer for sheeps or something like that, I tried to pay normal legal way of paying for product thats not a card but was denied with zero effort. Mid-evening not opening of a shift.. otherwise good place but this I find annoying 😒

07/01/2026: Cozy coffee shop in the center of Aarhus. We had two coffees and they were good, but expensive.

18/01/2026: Lovely place, personal and friendly service without anything feeling pushy or stuffy. Characterized by orderliness. Delicious garlic bread as a quick starter and wonderful pizza.

30/04/2026: A small, nice restaurant that I have been visiting since 1990. What has changed since then is neither the interior nor the menu, but the size of the portions has decreased and the price has increased in line with the development. Some say you sit too close, as there are only two small rooms for all guests (it is almost always completely full), but I think that is part of the charm of the place. I recommend a 'Combination 7', so you can taste a little of everything!

15/04/2026: It's a really nice place. Also a popular place. First time we were there and everything was practically booked up. But they had a table we could get if we didn't stay longer than 2 hours, so we jumped at the chance. It was a good decision. Delicious food, great atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

06/04/2026: Really nice and cozy place, the food is really good and the service even better. I didn't think my truffle pasta tasted like enough truffle, which they of course fixed right away. Would definitely recommend.

29/12/2025: The restaurant should focus on waiters with some experience or at least a supervisor in the form of a head waiter who could show the way. For example, when explaining - and pouring wine. The entrecote we got was also not of the quality we expected.
