16/08/2026: Very cheap but surprisingly delicious! The portion was a bit small, but the kebab was tasty and satisfying. I was especially amazed by the sambal served in a bowl, it was pretty spicy and went really well with the kebab. And don’t forget to order the red drink… it was sooo refreshing! And all of this was only around €14. Super worth it for the price! Definitely a great option if you’re looking for an affordable and flavorful kebab in Copenhagen.

10/09/2026: The food was very good. However, I missed salt and pepper and maybe olive oil with the bread. I think the bread was good, but you would have scored top marks with me if it was homemade sourdough bread. The homemade butter tasted good. The smaller dishes tasted very good. The butter steak and the homemade bernaise sauce tasted very good. I would prefer hasselback potatoes or something similar instead of the greasy fries that you get in most restaurants today. The salad did not impress me, bought cut salad with a little mustard vinaigrette. Some fresh vegetables, onions, peppers and iceberg lettuce would have been a little better. It seemed like a cheap solution. We got the daily specials with an accompanying wine menu. I think that with small changes you could make the experience even better🤩 I would recommend this restaurant, however, if you like good food. Reasonable price, good atmosphere and good service.

08/09/2026: What can I say? Try it. Brilliant flavour combinations and extremely well prepared and tasty. When the meal is served by a fantastic, smiling, service-minded young person, it is complete.

22/07/2026: An unusual spot in Christiania that's well worth a visit, both for its location and its atmosphere. The restaurant is housed in a building full of character, with original decor. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with fresh ingredients. The welcome was warm, and the service pleasant and relaxed. A different experience from Copenhagen's more traditional restaurants, perfect for discovering the unique spirit of Christiania. The prices are in line with those in Copenhagen. I highly recommend it.

05/07/2026: Damn, these are the best burgers we've ever had! And we're burger foodies! Great food, staff and fast service. The food was hot (which is lacking in many places these days), the flavors were just right. Best waffles 🤩😋

13/08/2026: It's a shame the star rating is limited to 5 because this place deserves so much more! Finally, menus adapted for children! We felt incredibly comfortable, and the staff were fantastic—smiling and funny. Our best restaurant since arriving in Denmark has earned 6 stars. Aarhus—we fell in love with this city. I 100% recommend this restaurant.

15/05/2026: We got pizza and pasta for the hotel. Good prices for Denmark and perfectly tasty. The people were nice too. If you're hungry and don't want to eat out in a big restaurant, this is the place to go.

18/04/2026: Very good food and a large selection of pizzas of all kinds. I personally recommend the ribs. The service was excellent. I recommend it to anyone hungry.

03/09/2026: Really disappointing quality. The bread was dry and hard, and even though there were no customers, the food was not cooked properly. The meat was not cut fresh from the skewer, but taken pre-cut from a metal container, the meat seemed a few days old....It ruins the whole concept and the taste... 0 points

24/07/2026: Wonderful place just a few hundred meters from the beach. We stayed in a small apartment, privately owned. Nice atmosphere and very quiet around the premises.

15/05/2026: When you stay at this hotel you are one of the many guests that stayed here since it opened 130 years ago which will be celebrated on July 2025. ​The history began on June 26, 1896, when developer Hildur Bang officially inaugurated what was then called Vesterhavsbadet Tannishus. The architecture drew inspiration from the 16th-century manor house Nørre Elkjær, which was owned by Hildur’s father. ​When it first opened, the hotel featured just one main wing with 13 rooms and a dining room, accommodating around 40 to 50 guests. At the time, terms like "guesthouse for bathing guests" (badehotel) were completely new, establishing Tannishus as one of the pioneers of the Danish seaside holiday movement. ​In January 1921, Ingeborg Skaun purchased the hotel, managing it for the next 42 years. Under her leadership, the hotel flourished and expanded. She built the Junkerfløj wing and added a tennis court in 1935. At that time ​wealthy guests from Copenhagen were picked up by carriage or car at the train station in nearby Sindal. ​Traditions were strict and guests spent weeks at the hotel year after year. ​Later new wings were added while strictly ensuring that all modernizations remained on the footprints of the original buildings to safeguard its historic spirit. I had a pleasant stay in on of the appartments which was nicely furnished and featured a complete kitchen with a small oven and a fridge. You sleep on couches that you convert into a bed. Bed linen and towels are not included in the price. This is because guests who stay for weeks bring their own. You can rent bed linen and towels from the hotel. I used a good hot sauna and a nice swimmingpool. ​

20/05/2026: I have been there a few times now, and I must say it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Copenhagen. It’s consistently extremely good food, and they change the menu very often (I think weekly) - so you can go all the time. I love everything there! The food is top quality along with good service, value and atmosphere. Big recommendation. Go go go! :-)

01/04/2026: Delicate and simple food without frills - just real ingredients that came into their own with simple spices and plenty of butter and oil, without it becoming bland. The fixed menu offered positive surprises and the sharing plates were of an appropriate size. The service was attentive and professional despite the fact that the house was full. It was liberating that the waiters did not spend several minutes sorting out and explaining what the food consisted of. The wine (prosecco and trebiano) was fine and the glasses were well-poured. Unreserved recommendation of this little gem.
