31/07/2026: I don't know if this counts as a review but I was staying at a hostel that refused to give me hot water for free to make some cup noodles and they wanted to charge me 20 DKK for hot water and then there's this place. I wanted to buy coffee here but my card didn't work for some reason at that moment and a guy here just gave it to me for free saying "relax, it's just a coffee". At that point, I knew exactly what this place was ♥️

17/07/2026: One of my absolute favorite watering holes in Odense! Nice selection of both classics and new beers. Good outdoor area. Nice dark "krostue". The service is top notch and you can eat your food from the surrounding eateries. Definitely the best draft beer place in town! 🔥

23/08/2026: Really cozy place with a view of the harbor. Really nice food (salmon with tasty vegetables and pasta with truffle). Dedicated employees who did the job well. We will be happy to come again.

21/08/2026: We went there to sit outside and enjoy an Aperol Spritz. The service was very friendly. Since it was a bit chilly that day, they even gave us a blanket so we could sit comfortably outside. We only had a brief look inside, but it was very nice. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained.

07/08/2026: Don’t order the Diablo pizza. It’s literally a pepperoni just covered in a ton of chilli flakes 😂. Otherwise our other pizzas were “ok”. The place was unclean and a mess. Wouldn’t recommend

It does a remarkably good job of capturing a Parisian-style luxury bistro atmosphere, with a lively yet elegant energy that makes it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The setting is pleasant, though a bit dated in some areas and in need of a refresh. The terrace could benefit from more heating on cooler days, though the provided blankets and heaters are a nice touch. Tablecloths would also help elevate the presentation and ambiance. The food is generally very good — simple, fresh, and tasty. The bread could definitely be fresher, but overall dishes are well prepared, and desserts are especially enjoyable. The mains are about average compared to Parisian bistros, but slightly above average for Copenhagen. Staff are polite and generally responsive, though sometimes a bit distracted and dressed in a style that feels slightly old-fashioned. Still, they maintain a friendly, professional (if sometimes overly informal) attitude. The bathrooms could be cleaner and more modern, and the interior décor would benefit from some updating, but the overall charm remains undeniable. Located in one of the most luxurious parts of Copenhagen, just behind the d’Angleterre, Café Victor remains a personal favorite — reliable, lively, and enjoyable year after year. I’ve been coming here for many years and even went twice on my last trip — it’s my go-to spot in Copenhagen when I want a classic, comfortable dining experience.

06/08/2026: It was a perfectly OK experience, but nothing special. The food and atmosphere were average, but the nice and attentive staff made the experience better.

03/08/2026: Excellent food, friendly service, and a cozy location with a view of Nyborg Town Hall. Pasta dishes: slightly small portions, but very tasty.

15/06/2026: Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience. The sushi pieces were way too big – so big that it actually ruins the whole experience. You can’t enjoy the food properly, and you have to be careful about how many pieces you order because it gets too overwhelming. The rice wasn’t good either. It tasted strange and felt heavy and soggy when you ate it, which is not what you expect from sushi. In addition, it wasn’t made “nicely” enough. The presentation was messy and unappetizing, and it didn’t seem like much care had been put into it. Worst of all, we had a flat stomach when we got home, which is of course completely unacceptable. All in all, a very disappointing experience that I cannot recommend.

01/09/2026: Great entertaining corner pf kødbyen, where hours can be spent away in their golf-activities with friends.

18/08/2026: I ordered two plates of spaghetti with large prawns, but one plate had very little sauce, while the other had a lot. The sauce should have been divided more evenly.

23/06/2026: Delicious pizzas, but remember to slice them when you ask for it!!! Third time it happens, even though we ask for it clearly on the phone.
