12/08/2026: The atmosphere of this place is indeed a little cold and detached, visitors sit around thoughtfully smoking into ashtrays, the old paintings on the walls are covered in a nicotine patina as are the burgundy velvet walls and all of this is pretty charming. Even the smell in the men’s toilet, which, despite that, looks absolutely spotless what makes feel it as an intended part of the whole experience: a journey back in time to the beginning of 20th century, when everything was apparently supposed to be like this: smoke-stained walls, art nouveau patterned tiles, a piss-soaked bathroom, mysterious visitors and bartenders who aren’t particularly interested in being nice, as people are expecting today, and simply do their job. It’s a pretty honest atmosphere of the place, and five stars from me.

14/08/2026: As a Greek I will say that Giannis and the team are doing great job and they manage to have a traditional Greek suvlaki at the best quality !! Is mandatory to try it !!!

05/08/2026: Extremely poor food. The seaweed salad was old and had been sitting out – it was inedible. The rice was old and dry, so we had to drown it in soy sauce... which we didn't get either, even though we asked several times. Their beef skewers were inedible. The apple pie was also inedible. The wait was incredibly long for such poor food, if we finally got it, and for almost 900 kr. We drove home with a bad feeling and thought that tomorrow it would be "survival of the fittest" about who would get to the little house first. My advice is: Stay away and find somewhere else to eat. P.s. maybe the Danish Food Authority should take a look so that there are no more bad experiences

The staff were friendly, competent, and helpful, always attentive and making sure we were well taken care of. The food was exceptional, fresh, and very flavorful. The wine pairing was well-chosen (but not for those who drive ;)). Thank you for the lovely evening. We'd love to come back!

08/08/2026: I ordered menu for 3, that as alright. But later, I ordered lava cake at the table, waited for 15 minutes, had to get it myself to the table. Before the worker gave it to me, she checked it and handed it over. After opening it, the cold whipped cream was completely melted and the cake cooled down... What was the point of checking, if I get a ruined product... Absolutely did not enjoy that experience. Also all the tables were dirty and napkin holders were empty... Someone has to manage this place better.

At the same time, Lulu warmly welcomes all guests with her smiling face and takes great pride in preparing each dish in a beautiful and inviting way. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. All dishes are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the food is not only tasty, but also beautifully presented. The service is friendly, attentive and professional, reflecting Yu and Lulu's commitment and passion. There is a large parking lot right in front of the restaurant, where the first two hours of parking are free. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and there are nice and clean toilet facilities for guests. In my opinion, Lemon House is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Copenhagen, and I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants authentic Vietnamese food. Update (two years later): I wrote the review above two years ago. Since then, Lemon House has moved to a new location in the same building. The restaurant has been moved from the far right to the far left, so guests can still use the same convenient parking lot. The new location is more spacious with a larger dining area and kitchen. It is also beautifully decorated, creating an even more inviting atmosphere. Since the move, the restaurant's already high level of service has been even better, and the overall dining experience has been further enhanced. I can still highly recommend Lemon House to anyone looking for excellent Vietnamese food and warm, hospitable service in Copenhagen.
