29/05/2026: I had a very good meal there on a mild May evening. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and the outdoor seating by the street was lovely.

07/11/2025: A very nice atmosphere. Very friendly hosts, the food was quite tasty. Super unusual, but definitely a place you can go if you want to eat out. The prices are, of course, quite high – around €80 for a mixed grill for two and two drinks.

30/10/2025: Sorry, but this was the worst restaurant we've ever been to. Even our kids said so. I don't know if people with good reviews have no standards. We're used to better in Hamburg. The dips were completely tasteless and lacked any seasoning. The guacamole was just smashed avocado with nothing else. The baked potato was just plain yogurt instead of sour cream? What a waste of money. The meat was okay, but every Greek restaurant in Hamburg is better.

05/08/2026: A lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere, but a bit pricey. Fries (not particularly large, with sauce) cost 95 kr, and a 0.25l lemonade cost 65 kr. Still, it was delicious. The outdoor seating is pleasant, and the nearby beach isn't too crowded, making it perfect for swimming and relaxing.

04/08/2026: Ambitious and successful. Some of the best food I remember in the most beautiful location. Super service even when busy! Also a nice sales stand with an interesting selection. Remember to book!

04/08/2026: Quite a nice place with polite service. Tuesday's steak tasted really good. Especially the celery puree was soft and tasty. Unfortunately the dessert was not of the same quality.

17/08/2026: The sweet and sour pork was pre-cooked, the spicy chicken was authentic, the dumplings were homemade and tasted okay, but the sizzling beef arrived without any steam – the sizzling plate wasn't hot at all. All the portions were extremely small. I ordered a chive pancake, and what arrived was actually a dumpling-sized chive pancake – I almost burst out laughing! The picture on the menu was huge. If you order a dish, you only get a small bowl of rice; adding more costs extra. The restroom was filthy.

06/07/2026: Delicious pizza. We all got a pizza from the regular menu, but with sourdough crust. Really delicious. Great service and really cozy place. Absolutely reasonable prices. And cheap parking right outside the door.

07/08/2026: We ended up here on recommendation. The table had a mixed selection of meats that was certainly of good quality. We had no complaints about the food. The service was somewhat lacking and very stiff. Possibly there were student workers or temporary staff on duty; we cannot judge that. A bottle of wine is supposed to be opened at the table. If you order extra side dishes with your order, it is nice for them to arrive along with the dishes. An extra side dish took a very long time, so everyone had already eaten. There are a few other things like that which are why we are only giving the service a 3. With the right staff, this would be a top-notch experience.

17/08/2026: The beer selection is great. The prices are Danish (i.e. 25-30% more expensive than a Budapest pub at least). But it's acceptable if you consider that you're on vacation. Small ruin pub style but cozy :D

12/08/2026: We just stumbled in here as we wandered through the streets of Aarhus. Great staff, good drinks...it has that old world local charm.

25/06/2026: We ordered for several people a week before and we were down to pay and follow up on it a few days before. When we were supposed to pick it up on the day itself they had forgotten it and only started it when we said what we wanted. We sat 20 people and waited for about 40 minutes for grilled chickens But the food was really good, but too bad they don't have control over their orders
