26/06/2026: Salad pizza was boring, with too little filling but nice bottom. Got delivered in town, but was not informed that the delivery charge is DKK 50. Appears as 3 amounts "extra" on the receipt. We don't think price and quality match. Expensive snack.

29/08/2026: We come there every time we are on Bornholm. Service always top notch and delicious evening buffet. And really good pizzas. Price ok. Definitely a place I would recommend

17/08/2026: The decor is really cool and gives the place a unique character, and the atmosphere is lively. However, the air was heavily filled with cigarette smoke, which made the experience less pleasant. We only had one beer, as we found the prices quite expensive compared with other places in Copenhagen. Nice place for the atmosphere, but probably not somewhere we would return to.

04/08/2026: The place was nicely decorated and had a relaxing atmosphere. The service was absolutely top class and you really felt that the staff took good care of the guests. The dishes were presented in an exciting and detailed way, which made the experience even better. The food was simply amazing. First time but definitely not the last time :)

03/08/2026: Beyond just the Atmosphere, Gastromé is one of the most delightful places you can dine at. It has true ambiance and the menu is so carefully crafted by sustainable and local sources. You'll be in for such a treat when you try heartfelt creative pairings. My personal favorites were the duck soup and the fig leaf ice cream. A fantastic experience I'll always remember! The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and charismatic. The chef is dedicated to serve you a first-class experience. Everything is prepared fresh.

22/08/2026: We were there for the first time for a celebration. We ordered a 6-course seasonal menu. Their appetizers set our expectations high, only to fall. The dishes looked really nice in appearance, but they just tasted minimal. Due to 2-3 larger events that evening, we ended up sitting for what felt like forever waiting for each dish. Due to lack of space, our table was taken twice by the waiters. In addition, there was so much noise that we almost had to shout at each other. There was a chip in my porcelain bowl, which one of the dishes was delivered in. After about 2.5 hours, we were still missing a dish, but we chose to leave early. During the long wait, you could also enjoy the table decorations, including a completely scratched lamp. At least there was a sweet waiter who, despite everything, did what she could. 7/11 provided a better experience on the way home and it's not something we would recommend unless you're afraid of salt in your food.

14/08/2026: Simply not worth the money. Take away sushi was very mediocre. I have had better sushi in buffet chinese restaurant.

01/06/2026: I treated myself to a dürüm last night; there has never been so much lettuce in any salad, but only now. Almost no meat, almost no sauce, just lettuce and cucumbers – terrible.

25/05/2026: We have had an annual trip to Munkebjerg Hotel for several years, but this year's stay was unfortunately a significantly worse experience than expected. The hotel is still in beautiful surroundings, and the food was excellent. However, the overall experience did not live up to four stars in any way. During our stay, access conditions were difficult, as the direct path to the table area was closed. This meant that we had to walk unnecessarily far to get in and out and back and forth to the toilet. It seemed as if the comfort of the guests had been given lower priority in favor of the hotel's own ambitions. As a family with children, we did not feel particularly welcome either. The pool was closed to children between 11:00 and 16:30, which is difficult to understand at a hotel where families also come for vacation. Children need activity during the day and peace in the evening. This prioritization makes it difficult to call the place family-friendly. In addition, the spa area was disappointing and far from anything that enhanced the experience. The most serious thing, however, was that an iPad was left in the room. When we contacted the hotel afterwards, we were informed that it had not been found or returned. It leaves a very bad impression when an item left in the room apparently disappears without explanation. Overall, this was an unusually disappointing experience. Munkebjerg Hotel does not appear to be a four-star family hotel based on our stay. Two stars would unfortunately be a more appropriate assessment of the experience we had. Disappointing and quite frankly not up to par.

29/07/2026: I will never come here again because it’s such a dirty place. The cooking staff is cleaning their nose into hand towel while cooking in the kitchen, the cutlery is always dirty. The food tastes good but honestly I m just disgusted.
