19/05/2026: Really delicious food and good service.

09/05/2026: I don't know if the place has new owners or something, but all the food was cold despite the fact that it tasted good - our cold soup was also replaced with a new soup. They were nice enough not to write the soup on the bill. We pointed it all out to the staff, who only had excuses, so we won't be going there again.

02/05/2026: The food came so fast that I barely had time to sit down. The pizza dough was so good that even the crust was eaten, which is rare for me. When I entered the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by the sweetest staff in the world. The feisty young man who served me took good care of me throughout my visit. He brought me ice-cold water, which was just what I needed in the heat. Not just another pizzaria. Big Ben Restaurant is a glimpse of the good life, located right in the middle of Glostrup. Would visit again.

01/05/2026: Best restaurant in Glostrup. Have been eating here regularly for almost 3 years. Good food, good service and fair price. Nothing bad to say. The menu is big enough that you can definitely find something you would like :)

15/12/2025: Simply amazing pasta and pizza but no talent for steak. With a healthy appetite my brother and I both ordered the Pasta al Ragù as primi. I was then tempted to diverge from earlier visits and try the most expensive item on the menu: Bistecca ai ferri, and with it some Patate al forno. I also found a red wine to pair it with. For dessert we finished off with Gelato alla vaniglia. The Pasta was great, a good sized dish, the just right temperature for the parmigiano to have maximum effect together with the ragout. The diced potatoes fried in rosemary and garlic oil were excellent as well and set up the pitfalls that was the main course. The grilled robeye was ordered medium rare and both looked and smelled delicious, to my supreme disappointment however it was simply tasteless in the most literal use of the word. It was boring and instantly overpowered by both wine and potato meant to compliment its flavour. Still hungry I made my disappointment clear to the waiter and made an unfortunate mistake as due to the time it took to get a waiter I did not ask for the menu, I simply ordered a pizza that I remembered: The Diavola. This truly wonderful pizza did of course completely clash with the red wine and as such further impacted the experience. It did however arrive swiftly which I commend them for. Lastly the ice cream a perfectly sweet solace from the slightly soured experience. It should be noted that we still paid full price for the ribeye. Despite this I would gladly dine here again, as I have before, the atmosphere is delightful and the other dishes are truly masterfully made, which is why the quality of steak was such a shock to me.

23/09/2025: Review of Restaurant California in Frederikshavn Restaurant California at Lodsgade 4 in Frederikshavn offers an authentic and satisfying burger experience that I highly recommend. I visited while in Skagen for the day and was drawn to the cozy ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the Texas Burger, which came with a warm bun, a 200g beef patty, salsa, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and homemade dressing, all served with crispy fries. The flavors were bold, with the jalapenos adding just the right amount of spice, and the homemade dressing tying everything together perfectly. My wife chose the Hollywood Burger, featuring the same delicious 200g beef patty, topped with sautéed mushrooms, onion rings, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and the house-made dressing, also accompanied by fries. She loved the richness of the mushrooms and onion rings, which gave the burger a unique, hearty flavor. For our daughter, the Children’s Burger was a hit. A simple, well-sized burger served with fries, it was the perfect portion for her. Restaurant California not only delivered on flavor but also on service. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. 29/12/2025: Ok food, but there is way too much rice per piece of sushi, and the rice is very compact. Especially with nigiri, where the ratio between rice and salmon was completely wrong. It drowned in rice.

03/05/2026: We went on a sunday evening. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. The food was super basic and did not match the cost. I ordered 'fresh pasta' with mushrooms. The pasta was very obviously not fresh pasta, there may have been one large full mushroom sliced finely and mixed in with cream over the store bought pasta. The Waitress admitted that it was store bought pasta and then tried to tell us that's what 'fresh pasta' is in Denmark. 🤨 The Waitress was lovely, but nowhere to be seen when came time to pay. I literally had to go behind the bar and yell up to the kitchen so we could pay. We would not go there again and would not recommend anyone else do either.

28/04/2026: Simply the worst "steaks" I've ever tasted. The burger patty is thinner than paper, and the steak sandwich patty was a mysterious grainy consistency and wasn't beef... don't know what it was, but just threw it out.

07/12/2025: Got bad food poisoning after eating at Martins Cantina. Was served a pizza with flabby dough and large amounts of ultra-processed ham, pepperoni and cheese. Still running between bed and toilet at the time of writing. Would not recommend!

09/04/2026: Went in to eat yesterday 8/4 and must admit I was disappointed with the place. I have nothing good to say about the place in any way, the food didn't taste like Chinese and didn't taste like wild food and had no idea what you were getting as only half of it said what it was and the service wasn't great, a trainer was standing with his mobile on and didn't welcome. So all in all, I don't understand being part of the Chinese wall family as the standard but I'm used to other places is somewhat higher and here the place in Aars can't live up to it

17/12/2025: Got the food delivered, which unfortunately was cold, despite only being 1 kilometer away. There wasn't much lettuce, cucumber and tomato in the dürum roll - It was a rather thin affair.

09/09/2025: Really delicious pizza at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff. The restaurant looked very clean. Can be recommended 👍
