28/11/2025: Handling raw materials without gloves is not delicious. Won't come again, too expensive for what you get.

28/08/2025: Read their latest inspection, poor hygiene and cleaning as well as poor food handling, green coatings on drawers for storing food, not exactly something that whets your appetite, besides they want an order of at least 350 kroner plus delivery to deliver. On their Wolt site the lunch menu is almost double the price! And well they don't answer the phone when you call and want to order, so the conclusion, disgusting, frivolous and expensive.

26/07/2025: Our favorite dim sum place in the city. Delicious, authentic and easy going. Calm atmosphere and everything is centered around the flavors. You can't go wrong with any of the choices.

06/09/2025: Late one night, while searching for food in Billund with my children, I stumbled upon City Restaurant. I entered and was greeted kindly in a desolate restaurant. After waking the owner, I asked if the kitchen was still open. The man thankfully replied "of course," and I jumped for joy. When I opened the menu, I fortunately had a spontaneous fit of rage when I saw that the only thing I could afford was pasta carbonara. Unfortunately, my pasta consisted of only three strands. My children were ecstatic to see that beneath these three strands lay a meter-deep layer of greasy soup. Unfortunately, I wasn't given a spoon to go with this smoky substance. I also pooped in the toilet and had to feed my children crayons, which is what happens when you don't provide a spoon with your greasy soup. 05/05/2026: Super annoying, but the place has dropped incredibly in quality over the past year - at least on our orders. About a year ago, your order was pampered, and there was diligent decoration (even to the lavish side). There was a clear difference in that the food was more gourmet and delicious than the other standard menus. Overall, we got the impression that there were delicious ingredients and everything was just perfect compared to what we have otherwise had in the area - and we were often pleasantly surprised by the "chef's choice". If we order today, we unfortunately get what looks like standard menus, even though we pay for "gourmet" sushi. Totally ordinary boring ebi rolls, where the dough around the shrimp is so boring and cold that it feels like something made the day before. You really get some boring rolls and there is not the slightest care for the food or the presentation - you might get a few extra spoonfuls of the boring roe. The nigiri has also become a bit boring and not as varied as before. Super sad, because it was our favorite place in town despite the fact that the price was a bit high. It's still delicious food and if you order the specific things on the menu, they are still fine. However, the menus have been cut so much that they shouldn't exist. We have come to the point where we would rather save the few hundred kroner and take a chance at the other places in town.

06/09/2025: We were there on Saturday evening at 5:30 PM, just in time to get a drink (it was good!). The Italian stall then decided to close (why? I have no idea). So there was only the option of getting a burger. It's quite annoying when you get there relatively early on a Saturday evening and want something to eat.

03/09/2025: We were there at the end of August and there were only two stalls selling food – Italian food and burgers. We had some delicious bruschetta and drinks from the bar. Although the selection was limited, it is a nice place to sit under the trees and relax for an hour.

12/04/2026: Held my 50th birthday in the back room at Dahl og Dahl for about 40 guests with tapas, cocktails and shuffleboards. It was a great success. The staff was very friendly, the food and cocktails were delicious, and everything was in order! The room is inviting and creates a cozy setting for a good party

27/09/2025: They have lots of advertisement about the tiramisu latte but don't have it available. The girl had the counter seemed confused, we ordered to have in mugs on site and we got in take away cups. The cups were far from full. The milk was way too hot, it was unpleasant. The whipped cream was pointless, such a small amount that melted straight away with the burnt milk. Expensive less than average coffee and bad experience

20/09/2025: If I had the opportunity to give 10 stars for service, I would choose this one. Very friendly, approachable staff, who make every effort to treat their customers like kings. Despite a language misunderstanding, they were super nice, and they even included a free pizza as an apology. The young gentleman is very passionate about their products and involves the customer in the production process. We had a lot of fun and pleasant conversations.

09/09/2025: Unfortunately, I walked back out because it's not a restaurant. I can't say anything about the food. No ambiance.

13/08/2025: We were just there. They had pizza and fries. Both were amazing. The fries were fresh and perfectly cut. Well salted. The pizza dough was homemade. The crust was super thin and crispy. Despite the generous toppings, the crust held its shape. If our next vacation in Denmark brings us near here, we'll definitely come back for pizza.

23/05/2026: Turkish snacks with homemade pita and freshly baked lavash bread. Delicious and excellent taste.

07/03/2026: Very good, good food, nice and competent staff, good drinks. Have visited several times but this was the first time for brunch. There were six adults and everyone was very satisfied.

18/12/2025: Sandwiches in their own innovative version but still faithful to the classic flavors. The restaurant delivers high-class cuisine served by staff who put service first. Always. Good locally produced beer (the brewery is behind a glass wall by the dining room). We'll be back!

17/12/2025: Ordered the food on Friday and sent them an email about my experience on Saturday - today Wednesday I still haven't heard anything. I wrote to them: It was quite a boring experience with food that wasn't hot and spring rolls that weren't soft. When I ordered at 6:22 PM it said it wouldn't be ready until 7:15 PM and that was fine on a busy Friday. But at 7 PM I got a text message that the food was ready so that was nice - but it must have been waiting longer and was ready and was cold and boring. Take care of your otherwise good reputation. Regards Charlotte Hi again, After reading your response I just want to inform you that within 5 minutes of picking up the food (I live close by), we sat down to eat and started with the spring rolls, which were eaten from the open "China box". 12/12/2025: So much flavour, and with nice body and depth. These are *bodied* taste experiences. And the greatest, juiciest chicken skewer I have ever had in my life - and my friend went to culinary school, so I consider that having said a bit. The people are kind and upfront, and service is, as thus, incredible; If you're in doubt, you can safely go to Rødhættes for an awesome night, just in power of the food alone.
