15/07/2026: The staff is so sweet and the food comes out fast. I am a huge fan of Thai food and this is my go-to spot. I can definitely recommend their Tom Kah Gai soup. The staff working today were super nice and the woman who took my order was so sweet and had the most beautiful makeup. It really made my birthday fantastic!

03/07/2026: We ate Thim Kha Gai spicy level : 3 stars eggnoodles with chicken 🌶️ 4 stars. We were driving through Danmark and had to stop somewhere along the road but had difficulties to find something I did not have too much time to do research either, we did not know if there was any seating, but yes luckily there is plenty of seating in cosy Thai style. Very tasty food and good service.

04/06/2026: Absolutely classy place to eat! I come here very often because of their friendliness and good service, and of course their excellent food. I have probably eaten here 80 times, and have never had a bad experience. I personally love their chicken bowl with rice and chicken, fresh ingredients and quality you can taste. 10/10

13/08/2026: Love Kayak. But have simply experienced too many times about 7 out of 10 times that there is total chaos getting your food when you have ordered. Again today there is a waiting time of over 40 minutes for two burgers. After so many years you should simply have solved this problem. I emphasize that I love Kayak in many other areas. But this happens again and again and again….

25/07/2026: Unfortunately, the ice cream here is the worst I've ever had in Denmark. A real waste of money. We've been going to Denmark for 30 years, but we've never experienced such a disappointment. The cone alone had to be thrown away. The shop was touristy and the staff unfriendly, which matched the quality of the ice cream. I'm only giving it two stars to bypass the filters.

22/07/2026: One of my favorite restaurants :) The food is perfect. It's super cozy. And I'm surprised every time I come by how quickly the food comes.

13/07/2026: We went to the restaurant not knowing you had to book a table, the young waiter that greeted us when we walked in did not look like he wanted us there and just told us we had to have a reservation. Restaurant wasn't even half full. Didn't have any interest in serving us. We felt very unwelcomed feeling the tense atmosphere.

03/09/2026: I saw that the cakes were 3 for 54kr or 1 for 22 and thought that was a good deal (only reason I took 3 pieces). I saw on my receipt that I paid 84kr for 3 slices. I hate to make a scene and usually just let it slide but paying 30kr extra was a bit ridiculous so I kindly wanted to ask about it. The lady told me that eating at the cafe costs 6kr extra for each peace you have. It apparently says at the counter but only in danish and I don’t speak danish so I find it a bit rude of them to not let me know. But that still doesn’t add up 54+18 kr is 72 so why did I pay 84kr? Because if you want to eat in you don’t get the deal (it doesn’t say that anywhere). So she charged me 28kr a peace instead of giving me the 3 for 54. That is just ridiculous. It says nowhere that I have to pay 28kr a peace instead of getting the deal that they put up in front of the cakes. I’m still confused to why I have to pay 6kr a peace just for sitting in when they just piled all the cakes onto one small little plate. Don’t get me wrong. The food is really good and it a cozy cafe but the price is ridiculous.

08/09/2026: Værftets Madmarked has become a must-visit for us whenever we're in the region. We've been here several times and always love coming back. The selection of different street food stalls is fantastic and offers something for everyone. We've always had a delicious meal here. But what makes Madmarked so special for us is the atmosphere. The old halls are incredibly uniquely decorated – with a mix of old and antique furniture, different tables and chairs, and lots of little details. It's precisely this imperfection that gives it its special charm. It's a wonderful place to sit with good food, watch the hustle and bustle, and simply enjoy the atmosphere. For us, it's definitely one of our favorite spots in Helsingør and a clear recommendation if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back!

24/08/2026: Very tasty, but rather expensive for the portion size. Nevertheless, highly recommended; we would definitely eat there again.

18/08/2026: I have been to BRUS many times over the last few years and this place was 10/10 years ago, and somehow has gotten even better. The beers are an obvious highlight-- so many of the beers on draft are brewed on-site, and they are always excellent. Don't miss the 1-2 cask ales often available as well! They also have lots cocktails and beverages available for anyone not in to beer. Aside from drinks, their food menu is stellar. They have an open kitchen, and you can tell that there is a lot of passion behind their food, which I would say is like elevated pub food. There is a dining area, and other areas outside and by the bar-- it could easily be a spot for a dinner, or a place to meet up with friends for drinks and a casual bite. BRUS is always high on my recommendation list!

06/08/2026: We stopped for ice cream after a visit to a nearby museum, this was done simply because we came across this place without having read any reviews. We were immediately attended by a young lady without any waiting time, guess we were lucky. The ice cream flavors are more limited than what we've seen in other places yet the available choice were more than enough and you'll surely find something to your taste. If you ask for a cone they have them with a lemon or chocolate flavor, ours was the lemon one and it was really yummy.
