20/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, looking for a quick and healthy meal. We ordered two salads, both of which were very good. However, I found the service somewhat impersonal and unfriendly. That would be the only downside to this place; otherwise, we thought it was a great meal!

07/08/2026: Very good food. Large portions for the price. Was told a 25 minute wait, but waited over an hour. The cashier was also the one serving. Running back and forth.

07/08/2026: Warm recommendation from here. Delicious food, cozy decor. The waiter is a bit new though and only comes with one plate at a time. Ordered a milkshake, it took some time to get it, but tasted good.

24/12/2025: We visited the restaurant based on the strong 4.3-star rating, but our dinner experience was deeply unsatisfactory. Upon arrival at 5:30 PM, the empty restaurant was our first concern. The issues began immediately with the complementary bread, which was strangely cold on the outside yet steaming inside, as if microwaved. A serious hygiene lapse occurred when a bug was found in one of our drinks. While the waiter promptly replaced. the starters (tomato soup and garlic bread) were good and tasty, the main course was a complete letdown. The ribeye steak, though cooked medium-well as requested, tasted charred and excessively salty. The vegetables were soggy and bland, and the fries were served cold as cooked hours ago. The overall atmosphere was unprofessional, with staff shouting loudly from the kitchen while preparing the food. Most distressingly, we later learned from neighboring diners that the recommended stake suce name "Champagne Sauce" contains alcohol. We believe the staff, who were unable to speak english, at least be aware we are Muslim, and should have identified this when serving it.

21/12/2025: The food is really good - but the prices are also quite high. However, I find the music annoying, which creates a high noise level.

30/05/2026: Ata pizza is the worst ever I have never tasted anything so bad and I had a pizza in Italy with fish on it which I threw out immediately. If I hadn't been so hungry I would have thrown this out too but I had waited 2 hours for it First of all it didn't taste like anything and secondly it was like chewing gum with pizza taste it really is not something anyone should recommend it is bad worst experience at pizza ever 4 of us boys got diarrhea

30/05/2026: Terrible. Took 2 hours for the food to be delivered. Not only that, it was like eating knives because it was so dry. I had to put a band-aid in my mouth when I bled from the dryness. Terrible delivery ice cold….. the pizza was the size of a snuff can

28/07/2026: Been coming here for few years. Always happy with the food. Was my favourite kebab place in Roskilde. Only specification you should make is to tell them to go easy on dressing and spice. (Depends on staff, some of them go crazy on those.) Edit = One staff member was quite rude and appeared to follow poor hygiene practices. I saw them touch their nose and then handle food without washing their hands. When I raised the issue, they became aggressive. The other staff members were great.

26/07/2026: I celebrated my 40th birthday with brunch for the family and it was simply so nice and at a really good price.

15/06/2026: We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday at Faris Kro, and it could hardly have been better. Even though there were only six of us, we were greeted with great hospitality. The staff gave us an even better seat with a fantastic view, even though it wasn't something they had to do. That kind of service makes a difference. We had a delicious 3-course menu followed by coffee and pretzels. Good, classic inn food with nice portions – no one went home hungry. When one of the guests had special requests for the food, a solution was also quickly found at the last minute. An extra plus was that the owner took the time to tell us a little about the history of the inn. It gave the experience a personal and cozy dimension. The premises are beautiful and atmospheric, and the garden looks fantastic. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't for a walk, but we'll have to use that next time. Thanks to the entire team at Faris Kro for helping to make the day memorable. We'll be back.

27/08/2026: I've eaten a lot of pizzas in my life. But I've never had one that was this hot. And it tasted good too.

11/08/2026: I have been to the bakery here. The café looks cozy. I bought a sourdough loaf and a slice of cake. Both were very tasty. The sourdough bread is perhaps the best bread I have ever eaten! Highly recommended!

03/01/2026: This cozy café serves fine cuisine and is located near Sønderborg Town Hall and the city's main attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The online reservation system is also convenient. We highly recommend this charming café to everyone.
