22/07/2026: Really bad service. Throwing spoons and cups around. We were happy and laughing and that's why they shouted at us. They also asked us to leave because we spent too long considering what we should have. We hadn't been there more than a minute. However, a large Belgian waffle that tasted like it was from the netto. Keep in mind, 50 kr.

14/08/2026: Reasonably surprised with the overall rating at Zhiki Sushi. I have eaten sushi in many places and here are my main points about this place. For a short summary: not recommended. In a review from a year before this one, a user writes that they are surprised by the amount of rice in a nigiri. I could nod in recognition of this, but am amazed that the owner has replied that they would actually look into the "balance between rice and fish". I can see that they have not investigated the matter further. I do not know of any other restaurants that use so much rice in a nigiri, and the internet is full of pictures of nigiri with a nice balance. Zhiki Sushi does not seem to have changed this since the previous review. I could hardly taste the fish in Zhiki's nigiri. The selection on the a la carte menu and ad libitum do not match, so we were disappointed when we had looked at the website first. There were dishes I had been looking forward to trying that I could not get. I'm sure it's probably written somewhere on the site, but we couldn't see it. Haha, you got us! It's a bit of a shame about ordering eight pieces of sushi at a time. It makes it harder to try a lot. I imagine it helps reduce food waste, since maki gives eight pieces per roll, but maybe you could cut the nori seaweed in half and work from there? In general, many of the maki rolls felt very similar - we got through four different ones. The ordering platform is typical for Japan, and the menu is easy to navigate, but I miss more pictures and that drinks are also displayed on the site, so you don't have to have a menu next to it. No draft beer :( But fine with Japanese beer and specials. For 300 kr. per person I expected more. The fact that the place is half empty on a Friday night probably indicates that we are not the only ones who have this experience, but many take-away orders seem to keep the place alive. Instead, try the restaurant next to Føtex by the station or the one on the pedestrian street. It is cheaper and the experience feels better. After such a mess, we have to end on a high note: their ebifry has a slightly different bite than we were used to - in a good way - and the chili mayo was good.

02/08/2026: The food was not worth the price and the waiting time was long. We were asked if we wanted more water (we had 1/3 water left in the jug) she takes the jug and fills it with new water and also asks to pay for two jugs of water (70kr). That is not okay in my opinion.

19/08/2026: I went into the store and saw a lady behind the cashier. I smiled and tried to communicate with her. Unfortunately the atmosphere was not good, she didn't hear what I wanted & responded quite sourly when I mentioned the cake name. I then got cake that didn't taste good at all & in our dialogue we misunderstood each other a lot. I was a bit tired of that.

08/08/2026: Really good local bakery. Good jordbærtærte and their fancy breads are almost as good as those modern fancy ones you see on Instagram, and after 3 hours it’s the same anyway! Toasts great too and they can slice breads at the shop, which is too much to ask for in many hip places. I really like the durum option. I think these guys hit the good sweet spot: some immigrant influenced stuff, some classic Danish stuff, the hip sour dough bread almost as good as the insanely expensive places, and they’re also very consistent (places like Andersen & Maillard and Hart sometimes have a bad day and these Brødhjørnet guys are always just good). And they’re super friendly too, sometimes they chat. Prices are as expected, not super cheap but they’re a decent bakery so that’s fine. Their hindbærsnitte is BIG, good value for money!

28/08/2026: I was just in Tilst to get a steak..it was so overcooked..but they were super nice and made me a new one with fresh fries and sauce..such a good experience..the only bad thing was..that they no longer have pepper sauce which I liked

19/08/2026: Very good dishes, good quality meat/steak. We had diner with 3 children. Good portions, very good salad bar. Kids get free ice cream for desert. After a daytrip from Grenaa back to the camping we were surprised to have this good diner. Super friendly service. Highly recommend for a nice diner!

03/05/2026: Don't buy pizza here. You come home with the wrong pizza, and when you go to exchange it, they say it's your own fault because you have to speak slowly because the person answering the phone is Italian and doesn't understand Danish very well. That's totally fine, Danish is a difficult language. But I don't think it's right that you get kicked out of the store because you want the right pizza. There are super good pizzas at Costa Smeralda and Vitalia and you don't get kicked out there 🤣🤣 it's a shame because it's actually a really good pizza, but you shouldn't have your pizza evening ruined because the pizza guy is angry...

06/09/2026: Really disappointing experience. Spicy prawn is way too salty. Food was served beyond 30 minutes after we ordered. We wanted to ask for spoons and been waiving our hands but no one is accommodating us. I have to stand up and get it on my own. Really bad experience.

02/09/2026: I ate alone and had an excellent meal where price and quality were reasonably balanced.
