20/08/2026: As an established Aarhusian, I have never had such poor food and completely rude and unfriendly service as at Cafe Jorden I can only recommend staying far away from that place.

14/08/2026: After drinking two beers, I asked for a water refill, which cost me 24 DKK. I found this outrageous.

10/08/2026: I simply have to give you some praise for your food! Your salads are really fresh, delicious and full of flavor, but the Mexican steak deserves a special mention! It is seriously one of the best — especially the way it is fried. Perfectly fried, juicy and tender, while having just the right crust. You can really taste that the quality and preparation have been taken care of. In general, your food is just incredibly tasty, fresh and well-composed. But the Mexican steak. It is really in a class of its own!

08/08/2026: The absolute worst place in all of Slagelse that I have ever ordered from. I have felt extremely ill after eating any of it! As the pictures clearly show, the food was completely inedible. The burger patty was pale, grey, spongy and both looked and tasted like something made in a microwave. The fries were completely pale, raw and so limp that they bent completely and clearly showing they were not cooked properly. Everything went straight into the bin. Even a 10 year old could have done it better. When I called to complain, I was simply told by the employee ''It was me who did it. That's how it should be, you just don't like it'' The place is incredibly unprofessional, and good customer service does not exist at all when you call to complain. They just shift the blame onto the customer. Judge for yourself from the pictures! 140 kr... Add stay far away!

16/08/2026: We come in from the street and order a pizza and a nuggets menu. The nuggets menu comes after 15 minutes, the pizza 10 minutes after...

02/07/2026: pizzas for delivery from you for the first time, and unfortunately it will also be the last. The quality was very disappointing. My potato pizza was topped with raw glazed potatoes, which I have never experienced before. They were completely uncooked and inedible. The spinach pizza used fresh spinach leaves, which after the trip in the pizza tray had simply become warm and limp. Unfortunately, it did not work at all. In addition, the bases were soft and limp instead of crispy, and the overall taste experience was so bad that both the children and I had to throw away most of the pizzas. At the same time, the prices are very high, and the quality was in no way comparable to what we were delivered. It was a very disappointing experience, and unfortunately we will not order again.

05/08/2025: We have just left a dinner party at the hotel. Absolutely the worst experience. No service. No flexibility. When I asked if there were more sandwiches, I was told that there were the number that had been ordered. Normally, you have a kitchen that can quickly produce more. The layer cake was dry without any notable filling and the cookies were apparently from Netto's shelves. When you cover up to 80 and 80 arrive, you have to ask the hostess if she wants 2 sandwiches for everyone present and not if she wants more. The hostess, who has just buried her husband, will hardly be able to decide on that. I know the hostess very well. It might have been obvious to ask the 2 daughters. I am well aware of the rules regarding changes in orders, I have more than 30 years of experience in the industry, e.g. The number of participants in a memorial gathering increased from 100 to 200 people. My kitchen handled it.

03/05/2026: You can buy sandwiches and cakes. They have some delicious cakes and coffee, tea, matcha, etc. Super nice staff and there is room for all ages.

14/04/2026: Absurdly high prices for some of the worst coffee I've had in a long time. Yes, a latte contains milk – but their iced coffee is really just a glass of milk with syrup and ice. The coffee is almost non-existent, and it tastes exactly like that. 62 kr. for that? That's ridiculous. You're basically paying for the water from the ice cubes and a liter of milk. It gets even worse if you say anything: no apology, no service – just a message to pay extra, even though it's their own lousy preparation that's the problem. The staff seems completely indifferent and downright difficult to deal with. And as a bonus, they never clean up, so you have to remove other people's dirty dishes yourself if you want to sit down. The only positive thing about an espresso house experience is good space and good side tables and decor. Overall: expensive, sloppy and a thoroughly bad experience.

02/08/2026: good service, nice ladies, fast food. but none of us liked it, really bad 😓 the spring rolls are good, chicken is ok, but there was way too much soy on it, so it wasn't eaten. otherwise thanks for the food

05/04/2026: Me and my family ordered takeaway,now 3 days we all been sick ,my youngest child of 2 year old is very sick .we all got food poisoning.not recommended…

19/08/2026: Got an okay cappuccino, but the man behind the counter was distant and seemed annoyed at being disturbed. I wonder if he's the unfortunate husband who was involuntarily forced behind the counter😅 That was probably the last time..

13/09/2026: I waited almost 30 minutes to be served a club sandwich and when it arrived it was badly burned. This can happen but I have never been a restaurant where they acknowledge the issue but refuse to refund money they requested be paid upfront. One to avoid.

06/09/2026: The restaurant closes at 9:00 AM, they force you to pay the bill and send you home. I've never been to a restaurant with such rude staff before; it's a complete regret.

07/06/2026: I had many better butter chicken before, and this one is very average.. not authentic one

04/06/2026: The only positive thing I can find to say is that it was open late at night. Hygienically speaking, eat at your own risk. The aprons looked as dirty as coal miner's, and the waiting staff urgently need hygiene training: wiping sweat with hand, tiuching food without gloves; the list is long.

03/08/2026: Really good ingredients. Too bad the food is drowned in a large amount of coarse black pepper and salt.

22/06/2026: What an absolute brilliant little cafe. Takeaway available. We decided to eat in and had a lovely meal. Great value, friendly staff. Right next to metro station which was very handy .

06/06/2026: Me and my best friend Brian, were past this exquisite gem. Where we ordered 2 bagels with salmon. And 2 milkshakes and 4 cakes and 2 coffees. It was the best meal we have had in a long time. The 2 who own the place were super caring and very nice. Absolutely not the last time we come by. 08/06/2026: I've eaten here twice, paying with my Danish bank card. The third time I went, a new person served me. I politely asked for two frikadeller to go. She put them in the microwave, and I told her it wasn't necessary to heat them because they would arrive home cold. She ignored me and continued heating them. When I went to pay, she saw my Danish bank card and told me they didn't accept it. I explained that I had already paid with that card twice without any problems, and she just repeated what I said in a mocking tone. In the end, she told me to come back with cash, and I didn't understand what could have happened. My bank is Lunar, and I had already paid at this place twice. I'm not Danish; I'm Spanish, and I spoke to her in both English and my limited Danish.
