05/01/2026: Shocked this doesn’t have higher reviews. One of the best cardamom buns I had in Copenhagen during my whole trip, ham and cheese croissant warmed up was amazing, the coffee was so good (got a latte, cortado, and a cappuccino and they were all excellent), and the staff was so friendly and sweet. I went here three times during my 6 day stay.

22/12/2025: A lovely restaurant with really good food and friendly service. We had a venison burger with fries and a beef sandwich. Both were incredibly delicious! The fries were the best we've ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant. It was a delicious and wonderful evening. Thank you!

20/04/2026: Really delicious food, exceptionally attentive staff and beautiful surroundings. For almost 1,300 DKK for food and drinks for two people, I expect to be full, which unfortunately wasn't the case. I'm not the type to beg for more, and therefore I think that at the very least you should ask your guests if they're full. It would take so little to turn the experience into something positive – just a little extra pasta or bread, and I would have been completely satisfied.

12/04/2026: I really loved the experience. The food was fantastic - I really enjoyed every dish and with fine dining places, often there are a few odd experimental dishes that are too weird, that’s not the case here. The best part was that we had one gluten free person and one vegetarian in our party - they didn’t make us feel annoying or uncomfortable that we had dietary restrictions, and the meals for us were just as thoughtful. It’s a cozy concept to have the main dining area in the basement, it made it feel like a well kept secret. The negative was we were seated next to the drinks preparation area, so there was a lot of noise of drinks being made, dishes clanking around, and servers overheating our conversation every time they had to fill up water for a table. The service was also not exceptional. We waited for 10 minutes before we even saw a host, and then had to stand around near the cold doorway for another 5 before being seated late. Overall it was an AMAZING experience with the food being the absolute star. Thank you chefs!

05/04/2026: We really enjoyed the city and surrounding area—great restaurants and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the Bella Italia hotel itself was disappointing. Service: The young receptionist showed no interest in communicating, even though we spoke Polish and German. Instead of trying to help, she gave the impression that it was our problem that we didn't speak English. Room: Clean and well-maintained, but very stuffy. The air conditioning was set to a minimum of 24°C, making a comfortable sleep impossible. We slept with the windows open, but in the morning we were woken by the noise of the truck bringing new sheets and towels—the metal trolleys being pulled out of the truck effectively ended our sleep. Breakfast: Very poor, with little choice. On the second day, I had the last roll left for myself. Not particularly good for Denmark. Furthermore, the entire buffet was set up in the hallway leading to reception, which looked unhygienic and unprofessional. Cleaning: We forgot to put up the "do not clean" sign—our mistake. However, the cleaning lady lectured my wife in a rude tone, which was uncomfortable and unnecessary, even though we immediately explained the situation. Check-out: the most stressful part of the stay. The stay was a gift from my daughter and was paid for, but the receptionist claimed "the system is showing red" and we had to pay. We couldn't reach our daughter, and the staff looked at us as if we were trying to avoid payment. Only after double-checking did we discover that everything had been paid. We received no apology or explanation—just a printed invoice and a goodbye. Summary: a great city, but the hotel unfortunately didn't meet expectations—mainly due to the service, air conditioning issues, and a stressful check-out.

14/11/2025: Fantastically delicious Thai food. It's not full of oil, but made perfectly - authentic and flavorful. Recently got a new menu. You can eat there - but it doesn't work as a "cozy place" and I definitely recommend just getting takeaway. There is high quality and a lot of food for the money! Lots of flavor and always friendly service. Please order in advance to avoid waiting.

05/10/2025: There has been a change of ownership and unfortunately you can taste it in the food. The food is not at all in the same league as before. Ordered a no. 41 - which I have done before, this time the noodles were dry and did not have the same taste and consistency as before, at the same time it had become far too sweet in taste, I don't know if they have started using more sugar in the food. They lost a regular customer there, unfortunately!

28/04/2026: My husband and I have visited Café Faust many times. Both for meals, larger parties and for a single beer here and there. Common to every visit is the very welcoming and friendly staff, who never make you as a guest feel in the way. This can easily happen with young staff. The food is delicious and you otherwise get the opportunity to point it out when the staff comes down and asks if everything is as it should be. However, we have never experienced that it was not.
