27/02/2026: Edited 26 February 2026. From a strong 4* down to a 1* Have they changed ownership?? The good customer service which kept me coming back has disappeared. Such a rude person on the end of the phone. I rang and ordered for a delivery. It was taken and a rough time was given. All good. 2 mins later I get a call from the shop " we don't have mobile pay. Only cash accepted" CRUD!!! I didn't even know if we had 2kr in the house never mind the little over 200kr for our order. I went into panic and said wait let me check. My voice may have sounded stressed, cause I was. I am rummaging through a backpack for a purse to check if we had it. I am trying to explain this ,and he is stressing only cash and how much, I say put the order on hold, I will ring back and either confirm or cancel. He says it will be there in about 20 to 30. Which was half the time from the time given with the first employee. I shout " put the order on hold and I will ring back in 5 mins" because at this point I hadn't confirmed we had enough money in the house. Before I had even finished he shouted " we can't deliver to you." CLICK. I have worked in the service industry and know how to talk to people who speak with a strong accent, I know how to tell them to take it easy and get to a result. And I expect that same level of understanding. I know I have an accent and understand that I can be even more difficult to understand when I get stressed. And what delivery service doesn't have mobile pay in these times? . . I can't give a 5 star rating,but they deserve more than 4, I would happilygive it 9 out of 10. I have been a customer for roughly 3 years. I have had 2 problems in that time. One of them tonight...they ran out of chicken for the pizzas 😱😭😅 still ended up with a well prepared Hawaiian, to the time I ordered and it tasted great. The first time the problems warranted a complaint but the sort of complaint that could wait until I went in next time. I still enjoyed the food on that occasion. When I went in to complain,I left the shop happy, felt like I had been heard and understood. I can recommend talking to the owner. You may be surprised. I know I was. 😉🤣🤣

09/05/2026: I have examined publicly available information about the company's owner and can document that he or she acts as an administrator in a specific Facebook group. The content in the group is publicly available, and I have seen it myself. How one assesses the content is of course individual, but personally I find it to be borderline and unpleasant. On this basis, I have lost trust in the company and do not wish to use their services in the future. My review is solely an expression of my own experience and assessment based on documentable circumstances. I recommend that other customers investigate the company themselves and form their own opinion.

08/05/2026: We've now tried to buy shawarma four Fridays in a row. The shawarma is really good — if you're lucky enough to get it. Every time we came around 7:15–7:30 PM, the place was either closed, out of lavash, or the staff had obviously already decided that the work day was over. It's kind of impressive that you can run a shawarma place without knowing how much lavash you're going to get or when you're actually open. The result is the same every time: you go home hungry.

07/03/2026: Poor hand hygiene, everything was touched while serving various customers, neither hand sanitizer nor a drop of water was used. The food was mediocre with a burnt flute and dry kebab and also in their sharwama, bonus was that there was a hair in the burnt flute. The music was good.

05/12/2025: You can't complain about food you don't get! But lack of it. I order a small tray of fries and pay via the website and get a message that it's ready in 20 minutes, after 45 minutes they still can't answer when they can make my fries and I end up leaving the place because I have sick children in the car. poorer - but without having been fed.

16/10/2025: The wait is incredibly long. We waited 45 minutes for our food, despite the restaurant being completely empty. I ended up with a completely overcooked filet mignon. When I pointed it out to the waiter, he took it and only came back with a new one after over half an hour had passed! So I only got a chance to eat after almost an hour and a half had passed since I arrived. I pointed out to the waiter that I was sorry to have to sit and eat my food alone, now that everyone at the table had finished eating before my food arrived. The waiter said (with a not-so-service-minded attitude) that the only thing he could do was apologize and offer drinks on the house bill. We had ordered one soda and three waters. I would think that they should be offered a bigger compensation when the experience was so bad. We hurried out of there, as the whole experience was completely ruined. It was the first and last visit to Bovi.

30/09/2025: The atmosphere is calm and clean, all the food we ate was delicious, røget laks / mignon / ribeye are a must try

03/03/2026: A completely standard dining experience at the low end of the spectrum, but I think that when it takes place in a train station center with limited time between stops and departures, it's a good idea that it can go a little faster and less important that the quality doesn't say top French restaurant!

11/07/2025: Even though the food was ordered an hour before for a specific time, we still had to wait 20 minutes to get our order. On top of that, you always have to stand and wait to pick up what you ordered, even if it is ready, because the staff doesn't approach you.

26/06/2025: I ordered a bowl of chicken skewers that was delivered via Wolt. The bowl is not even half full, the chicken is so dry I don't even want to serve it to the dog and the food was cold. This is far from the standard we are used to, so we call the place. Here was the message “we have a procedure we follow when we make these, and some follow it, others don't” 😳 We wanted to come and exchange it for a new one, but this was out of the question, since it was ordered through Wolt, and therefore they wouldn't correct THEIR mistake with the food. I really hope they offer a refresher on good customer service, the employees here seem pretty indifferent to their customers!

25/08/2025: Unmanned camping. Decent service building with several showers and toilets. Pool/water park open. Restaurant closed. Local sports clubs use the football pitch located within the area. 800 meters walk to groceries and restaurants.

19/08/2025: Quite simply a disgrace.... We spent one night in this campsite which was almost deserted and clearly in liquidation, with no longer any staff at reception. The majority of the toilets are dilapidated and are former changing rooms from the nearby stadium: only one building was modern, clean and allowed to take a shower. The swimming pool advertised on the website is no longer part of the campsite.... Avoid!

07/08/2025: Have eaten here a few times over the years, the quality has fluctuated soooo much. Had some really delicious Quorma a few years ago. Today it was inedible, so bad I threw it out to avoid getting sick. It tasted sour/bitter, which suggests the yogurt was too old or something. The paratha bread was completely raw. This is so bad I will never order from here again

18/11/2025: After a walk along the coast, enjoy a delicious coffee and a treat. And you'll be served kindly by two lovely ladies.

26/09/2025: Large selection - but the baker has dropped the salt jar in the dough.. It has gone completely wrong - if that is the norm, then it is very close to being harmful to health!

26/12/2025: How the mighty have fallen. If this is the level McDonalds is delivering, their future is bleak. Food is abysmal, service is slow and inattentive, not clean, piles of boxes in the kitchen, food was packed by a three year old (or so it seemed). Stay as far away as you can.

15/05/2026: There were 9 of us out to eat, and to avoid misunderstandings, we pointed directly to the dishes on the menu when we ordered from the start. 8 people got their food. The last dish didn't come. After 15 minutes, we went in and asked where it was. The answer was “5-10 minutes.” Then the wrong dish came. We had ordered steak with fried eggs and fries. We got manor steak with potato wedges.. When we pointed out the mistake, the waiter just replied: “What?” … and left again without solving anything. We again grabbed another waiter/owner and explained that everyone else had now finished eating, while the last one still hadn't gotten his food. Here we were just told that we had ordered the wrong dish ourselves? But when you point directly at the menu AND say “with fries”, it’s hard to understand how you could end up with a completely different dish and potato wedges..? It honestly seemed like no one was listening at all. You get irritated by the waiter/owner agreeing to make a new and REAL dish.. In total, it took over 40 minutes before the right dish arrived. Meanwhile, the last person was left alone and had to eat long after all the rest of us. When we paid and pointed out the bad experience, we were offered one free beer as compensation. We honestly said that we thought the dish should at least be free after the extreme waiting time, incorrect serving and poor handling afterwards. But this was quickly rejected with the explanation that they “don’t make any money on the food with the already low prices” and that the waiter had simply heard wrong. Sorry, but if you're in doubt, you might want to take a second look at the menu - especially when the customer points directly at the dish. The most ironic thing is that the owner initially said: “You'll get delicious food.” “You'll definitely come back.” “Everything is made with love.” Unfortunately, that's going to be a big no thanks from here. We're not usually the type to write bad reviews or complain, but this experience was simply too bad.

08/12/2025: Cozy cafe. Nice mulled wine... Apple slices not so good. Nice service in return🙂

24/04/2026: The restaurant looks rundown. There are leftovers on the floor and the trash isn't emptied, so it overflows. You don't get napkins and have to stand in line again to ask for them. The food you ordered is not as you typed in and the app doesn't register points. The steak was cold and the Happy Meal was delivered in a bag. A 6-year-old is not happy about that. All in all, a sad experience. Positive: The fries were good, they weren't white and limp. And the restaurant itself is in good condition. You just can't see it 😳

21/04/2026: Just sat in the drive-thru for 30 minutes. I ended up arguing about how long I had been in line. The guy who delivered the food only thought you counted minutes from when you ordered until you received the food... Which was apparently 658 seconds... He didn't count the 20 minutes it took to wait in line to order.
