09/11/2025: I had a really disappointing experience at Emmerys on Bryggen. The staff seemed inattentive – they were standing around chatting and didn’t even notice customers coming into the store. I ordered two buttered buns to-go, but it took almost 10 minutes to get them. When I finally received the bag, it was covered in butter. When I pointed this out, I was met with a very bad attitude from the staff. Really bad experience on a Sunday morning!

08/10/2025: Ordered a hot sandwich. It didn't even take 2 minutes before I got it. Alas - cold and boring threw it out after one bite

24/07/2026: Got pita bread No flavor in the meat and stingy with the meat, most of it was salad. Fresh vegetables

10/05/2026: Yesterday the whole family got sick after eating here. We all threw up. There must be something really wrong with that place. Will never eat there again.

31/07/2026: We left the place without eating. Very hot place and poor service from unfriendly staff!

14/07/2026: It’s amazing how frustrating a pretty looking bar can be when the staff are completely clueless. Not keeping it tidy, no idea how to look after customers. Rude, incredibly slow and really not listening.

29/08/2026: It was cozy in the kitchen, but no service. It took a long time before someone came. While I was waiting, I looked around and you can see that cleaning is not their highest priority. I bought a hand ice cream for 22 kr and a small soft ice cream and had to pay 69 kr in total, so 47 kr for a small soft ice cream!! It's way too expensive and we won't be back.

15/08/2026: Really delicious plaice. Not much of a smile on the waiter's face, but it came anyway 😄

02/10/2025: A fantastic bakery with top-class service and quality! You are always greeted with a smile and friendliness, and that makes the experience very special. The bread and cakes are in a league of their own – freshly baked, delicious and full of flavour. Here you quickly forget Lagkagehuset and all the other chains – nothing can compare to the quality and personality you find here. It is clear that everything is made with love for the craft. My absolute favourite place, which I can highly recommend to anyone who appreciates genuine baking craftsmanship. 🥐🍞🎂 It is a pleasure to shop in your bakery shops

25/09/2025: There has definitely been shrinkflation in those cakes – while the prices are skyrocketing, the size is getting smaller 😅

15/05/2026: I understand that the owners of the place are not keen on keeping the premises and toilets clean. I have been there a few times and every time there was dirt everywhere – on the tables, the floor and the toilets. Is it typical for Danes to like dirt? Do they like working and buying food in dirt?

14/04/2026: Nice bakery with a large selection, unfortunately only a few seats (approx. 20, mostly tables for 2).

04/07/2026: Makes everything wrong and argues with customers when they say they got the wrong food. Makes pizzas wrong twice. And the young boys at the cash register don't understand anything you say to them. Stay away.

29/06/2026: Nice staff, even brought the food out to me in the parking lot. The food was nice.

23/07/2026: There’s no seating area ( only to go orders) there’s 7 machines to order from. There’s parking on the side streets.. The service / costumer service was really good

18/07/2026: I experienced ordering on the McDonalds app. It stated that the restaurant was open, just like it was on Google. When I got to the restaurant, it was closed. There were opening hours on the restaurant door, according to which it should be open. I wrote to McDonalds, who could not bring themselves to actually accept responsibility, but instead referred to the fact that orders through the app are "intended to be made when you are in the restaurant and can see that it is open". Now I have the opportunity to show up at the restaurant and discuss with them, or receive a discount coupon that I can possibly use another day if they are open. Anyone can mistakenly enter opening hours incorrectly in a digital system, but it seems somewhat strange that you have the wrong opening hours hanging on the door. Furthermore, it should not be the customer's responsibility to doubt McDonalds' own knowledge of its opening hours, as well as that a loss caused by McDonalds' misleading information should not be borne by the customer.

23/08/2026: This is my third time shopping there, and I'm simply overlooked. I was standing in line with seven other people, and when it was my turn, the person behind me was served, apparently because you have to take a number on your phone or something. It's only written in Danish, not even in English. How are people supposed to get bread rolls if they don't have a phone to get a ticket or translate? The first time, I wasn't served at all. The second time, even though I was the only one there, one of the three sales assistants took pity on me, but she still didn't point out the ticket system. Everything's better with technology. This isn't service.
