De bedste restauranter

15/09/2025: Visited with extended family as part of our Morfar’s memorial weekend and it was a disaster from start to finish. We arrived at 7.30pm on a Friday and only 3 other tables were occupied. We were greeted by a young waitress who took our drinks orders and we then had to wait 50 minutes to get them. They didn’t have any bottles of the house red OR house white (despite it being a very limited wine list of about 5 wines) and in the end we had to settle for alternative wine options/carafes. Our food took about an hour to arrive and when it did our experiences were mixed: the pizzas were generally good but the pasta dishes less so. My cousin’s carbonara had just ONE piece of bacon in it and no pepper. When this was raised with the owner he stated that salt and pepper weren’t listed on the menu as ingredients included in the dish and so we shouldn’t have expected it. There was a lot of confusion when the food arrived as staff just shouted out the dish number from the menu (which we hadn’t been told to remember) and they couldn’t tell us what each dish was. We ended up asking for a menu so we could work out which dish belonged to who. One pizza was completely wrong and when the correct one came out, it had bacon on it which wasn’t in the listed ingredients! When the manager was asked why the wrong pizza had been delivered to the table he stated that he couldn’t read the handwriting of the waiting staff so he’d had to guess! At the end of the night, we complained to the manager about our awful experience and he just made excuse after excuse refusing to apologise or accept any fault. At the end of the discussion he agreed to a 50% discount on the misdelivered pizza but stated that he ‘wasn’t making Italian food in Rome - he was making Italian food in Silkeborg’…… The restaurant is called Roma but it seems customers shouldn’t go expecting Italian cuisine of any note. Stay away unless you want a confusing and chaotic evening out.

13/09/2025: Lovely, spacious Italian restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. Delicious pizzas so big you'll have to take some home.

11/03/2026: Really nice food. There was so much to choose from. Smiling staff. Left there happy and satisfied 🤗

15/02/2026: Disappointing selection of salad. Despite repeated attempts, their "chef" would only deliver meat in the "cold cuts" category. Nice waiters and a little cartoon that the kids enjoyed. Definitely not worth a visit again.

30/05/2026: Extremely long wait time for an order that might take 10-15 minutes in other similar restaurants

12/08/2026: I had the chicken pita and it had “ no taste at all and it was cold. Futher I discovered at least three hairs inside the pita bread. Altogether I really wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

15/08/2026: Never experienced such arrogant and bad service. They were clearly tired of us only having coffee. But we have solved it for you now, as we will certainly never come again! Sorry we disturbed you and interrupted your private conversations

04/08/2026: We visited the place yesterday. We arrived a little late in the evening but we were still shown a table and served by the sweetest waiter (Gitte). While the food was delicious, we got shrimp cocktail and old-fashioned roast beef. There was too little sauce, but as soon as we asked for more, a jug was brought to the table. We will definitely come again..

06/07/2026: If you order from their own website and choose delivery, you should expect to pay more for delivery when the food arrives, despite the fact that the receipt you receive shows a somewhat smaller amount.

12/06/2026: Their pizza with beef and onion and purchased mushrooms was nothing special, very little filling, it's of course a matter of taste, but there were very few onions and mushrooms. And almost no taste.

22/11/2025: Worst ramen I ever ate without getting diarrhoea. Was it really that bad? Yes: You can trust my judgment - I’m familiar with British cuisine, for example. The bowl rises like an abstract canvas, steam curling in soft strokes of umami and ambition. Its aroma drifts out, equal parts toasted seaweed and a faint whisper of regret. Never. Again. Not even for money.

02/09/2025: Well, I can't taste anything sour or anything else 😅 everything went really quickly even though others were ordering too 👌 I was completely happy, ate three bao buns and the ramen soup, very tasty 🤤

29/04/2026: My wife and I drove in vain to Roskilde to look at some kitchenware that was unfortunately sold out. But then it's good that you can just make a pit stop at The Spot Café and satisfy your hunger. Much to my chagrin! Ordered 2 lunch burgers that differed from anything that in my opinion can be called within the norm. Both burgers were lazily filled to the brim with a decent pile of a spinach and arugula ready-made mixture, as if it were God's gift to the taste buds. Since I didn't want fries, the kitchen had so creatively put a heap of exactly the same salad mixture on the plate, so now the whole thing looked like an overgrown garden. My wife's potatoes were strangely floury in consistency. Curious to see if there might be a surprise hidden in the burger, I lifted the top bun which was a coarse burger bun that crumbled as if it had been taken straight from the bag without cooking. Under it; one thinly sliced ​​onion ring, a small half-cut cornichon, a single cherry tomato and some processed cheese. You were dreaming of a saucy sauce that could have done wonders for this whole dry, suffocating, scratchy feeling of chewy arugula mixed with dry salad. Goodbye and thank you. The sodas were good. They cost a modest 65 kroner per sip, by the way. 307 kroner for the experience.

09/03/2026: Chicken burger, if you can call it that. Cold bread, the meat had the "taste" and appearance of pork that had been exposed to many heatings. French fries that were hollow inside. The whole thing was tasteless. All in all, a really clammy and bad experience. Have now been there 3 times, first, last and only. And no, I did not address the staff, as is suggested to everyone who comes with criticism and it does not seem like you do, as the criticism continues. That is your job and not the customers'.

11/07/2026: Felt sick after eating the food. Maybe too cheap to be good

09/07/2026: Really nice service, Great food, there were flies almost everywhere and it wasn't very clean, but overall good experience

22/07/2026: Probably the driest croissant ever! 7/11 makes them much better - besides that thebirke's bread was dry without cream. Scones were okay. Sausage horn was also dry. Overpriced without ketchup. Like steak without sauce

17/07/2026: Got a shock. Was right nearby, went in to buy two artisan breakfast breads. A small rubber ball, not crispy. Inedible. Have thrown them out, and a price💩. 28 kr for two Inedible artisan. It's a dictatorship. We were so disappointed. Do they never reply back? No. Bad conscience.

12/01/2026: Big disappointment. Soggy buns, fries that tasted of old oil, dirty, smelly rooms and staff that were busy chatting among themselves.

17/05/2026: There's not much of a smile on our bald friend at the bar.. Quite a rude attitude to be met with😵‍💫 But you can handle it.. I hope you're not the man who gets customers haha

03/05/2026: Poor service - overcharged for 30 minutes because we paid 5 minutes late after our 2 hours had passed.

07/12/2025: Disappointing. To start with they had lost our booking.. then they said we had to pay again, which we refused. The pool was broken, so you couldn't use it (it had obviously been there for a long time). The room: The toilet was black down in the basin and there was a hole under the very worn carpet so the glass table jumped every time we walked past. The TV could only receive DR1 and DR2 and restarted probably 25 times. At night there was a terrible spectacle because the owner was holding a wild party in one of the castle halls. In the morning we had to ask them to cover for us, as they had forgotten us again. And when we checked out they didn't think they had handed over our voucher... so we had to email it to them and wait for them to print it. Generally unprofessional!! Sidenote. They said it was fully booked, but we were only 2 tables down for breakfast and we didn't see a soul.

07/12/2025: We had booked a stay at Sauterhus Slotshotel for 2 nights, 3 rooms with both breakfast and dinner as part of the celebration of my mother's 70th birthday. The choice fell on this hotel because it had an indoor pool, so that both children and grandchildren could enjoy themselves during the day. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed already upon arrival. When we asked where the pool was, we were told that it had been closed for several months and was still not working. We booked the stay already 4 months ago, and we had not received any kind of information that the pool would not be available. That part was extremely frustrating, as it was the main reason why we chose the hotel. As compensation, they offered a bottle of sparkling wine and some soda for the children, which certainly did not match the disappointment - and we therefore politely declined. Unfortunately, the service at the reception was far below acceptable. Maurice, who served us, was both arrogant and uninterested in helping. At no point did we experience any understanding, friendliness or attempt at a real solution from his side. This made the disappointing situation even worse. All in all, the stay did not meet expectations at all, and it was a disappointing experience on a day that should have been special and festive.

16/08/2026: Cappuccino for €8, that's no joke.

25/07/2026: Stopped here for an ice cream. The ice cream was good and the prices were okay! Small place where there are not a lot of tourists. Which suits me. Very nice staff!
