23/08/2026: Held a ladies lunch with 19 per. with a delicious welcome drink. Beautifully set tables, with flowers and a view of the tennis courts. They took gluten allergy into account. - The food was a thoroughly enjoyable experience both visually and in taste. Competent and pleasant service by the staff, who arranged for festive elements during dinner. We would love to come back and hold our parties here.

20/05/2024: I visited here with my boyfriend. It was in the middle of the week so there only was one other customer. However, the waiter was so busy with her, that he ignored us totally. We arrived to the small café room, stood awkwardly next to the waiter, and he didn’t ’ even bother say ‘hi’ for us. After long time waiting we went outside to enjoy the view and wait that the waiter would finish his conversation and we could order drinks. After waiting outside fair amount of time I went back inside to ask if it’s even possible to order drinks here? The waiter was still just intensively talking with the customer. In the end we got our drinks but the same ignorance happened when we wanted to pay, we stood next to the waiter, waiting to get any contact with him in order to pay. On top of that we were charged incorrectly, he charged us the drinks + entrance ticket even though we had paid the entrance in advance. I don’t recommend this place for anyone!

16/08/2026: La Maschera Di Ferro in Hjørring is a café and restaurant with a very distinctive name and a central location in the city. The facade stands out with the green signs, the red entrance and the text “Café og Kunst”, which gives the place a more personal expression than many traditional restaurants. The place seems to combine café, restaurant and art, and through the large windows you can see art hanging on the walls. This gives the premises a different character and makes the place not just appear as another ordinary café. It is open for both lunch and dinner. According to the opening hours at the entrance, it is open Tuesday to Saturday. Lunch is from 11:00 to 15:00, while in the evening it is open from 17:00 to 21:00. Monday and Sunday it is closed. The kitchen closes at 14:30 and 20:30 respectively. When I passed by, it was closed, but the place still appeared to be in operation, and there are both opening hours and other information hanging at the entrance. It is therefore worth paying attention to the opening hours, as the restaurant is closed between lunch and dinner. The building itself has a lot of character. The dark facade combined with the very distinctive red door and the green signs make the restaurant easy to recognize when walking through the area. There is also a ramp at the entrance, which provides better access to the premises. La Maschera Di Ferro seems like one of the more distinctive eateries in Hjørring. The combination of café, restaurant and art gives the place its own identity, and it is positive with smaller independent places that do not necessarily look like all other restaurants. An interesting place in Hjørring, which I would like to experience from the inside one day when I come by during opening hours.
