11/11/2023: Actually quite good food. We would have gone to Kongedybet but it was completely packed. We tried this place and were actually really positive about the quality which was far better than when we usually go to the competitor.
Although there was a bit of a lack of atmosphere, as there was a bit of an old shop, the food and service were of quite high quality, it was a bit of a woolly place but we were actually positively surprised.
Really delicious food and at a VERY affordable price
05/11/2023: One portion of salmon was not fresh, neither in taste nor appearance. I had to throw it out.
It's a real shame, because then I can only give three stars.
Everything else was very delicious.

Small cozy restaurant in a beautiful old building out in the countryside full of atmosphere.
Can choose a 3, 5 or 8 course menu that varies throughout the year.
And the food was really delicious. Lots of flavor in the different servings and a suitable amount of food. And beautiful dishes and delicious homemade bread.
The service was also top notch with very detailed descriptions of the food.
Can definitely be recommended🤩
24/10/2025: It was a fantastic experience. There were so many flavors in every little bite.
There was a fantastic cozy and informal atmosphere, which is often missing in gourmet restaurants.
The service was top notch. We may have missed getting a wine list, but the waiter recommended perfect wines. Ps thank you also for the lovely breakfast WITH HANEKAM 👌

14/09/2023: The food was tasteless. It is misleading to say that this tastes authentically Indian. We were very disappointed. I have eaten palak paneer in a number of restaurants elsewhere. Their attempt at this dish which they call "cheese in spinach" is tasteless and uncomplicated. Worst of all was the naan bread which tastes like a sweet wheat bun without a hint of garlic.
26/08/2023: The food is okay, but I don't think it's worth the price. There was more potato than meat in their samosas, and their beef in garlic could use some more seasoning.

Det var en fantastisk oplevelse, maden var fantastisk- god betjening.
Flere gæster sagde at de aldrig havde fået så god en brunch med så mange forskellige retter. Stor tak til Øster Højst Kro.

12/08/2024: If I could give them -5 in service, it would have been too little. Ordered at 6pm with 40 min delivery (1.5 km away). 8.22pm still no food. Had to send a colleague down and create an atmosphere, money back and a French toast for dinner. Will NEVER order food there again!!!
