18/08/2026: I ordered mushroom and cheese pizza, very reasonable price 82 krons. The taste is decent for a quick bite. I took away the pizza and ate it on the bench at the nearby canal.

07/08/2026: A hidden gem in the middle of Copenhagen 🇩🇰 Grew up in Copenhagen but have never seen the restaurant 🙃 But in a way I'm happy about it otherwise I would have been there once a week 😇🙏 You have to look for service like this for a long time and the food is sublime They want the best for their guests and help with what to drink 😜 Awesome experience, you should try it 😜

31/08/2026: The food was very very good. The only negative is you must order at the counter. That process is typical in Copenhagen so not a big deal. They were busy all day and night

14/08/2026: Such a lovely place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. He made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The café has a beautiful little garden with a cozy gazebo, which makes the place even more special. We had a really great experience here and truly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. The owner was so nice and accommodating, and you could really feel the personal touch. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this lovely café!

30/07/2026: Hadi is incredibly nice. But the service was poor... Had to wait 15 minutes before I saw an employee (who turned out to be Hadi). I had to get up and go to the bar myself to order.. both drinks and food.. no menu card.. the food was ok. On the other hand, it wasn't cheap, and it took a LONG time for it to arrive. Won't be back

12/07/2026: A gem of a restaurant. The food was excellent - with the starters edging it in terms of creativity and taste (but the mains and seasonal dessert were also delicious). Great wine collection, and even better to have some candid views from the staff as to what wines will actually pair well with the dishes. Also accommodated our infant daughter and made her feel part of the experience. Highly deserving of Michelin recognition.

17/06/2026: What an amazing experience! Everything was perfect in Pondus. The food, the service and the atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The food was next level - the hand chopped tartare with kimchi was a perfect combination and a one I will not forget. 5/5, I definitely recommend it.

23/08/2026: I totally understand how it works for reservations especially on a Sunday. That said as a visitor to Copenhagen from another European country I was not only insulted by their attitude but found that they have a very bad reputation around the city. I was abruptly turned away by a rude employee of little statues I'm positive walked a block down the street and was warmly welcomed were upon I spent my hard earned money and a lot enjoying pride service. Don't bother with this Danish disaster

22/08/2026: We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. The service was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and very friendly. The small appetizers were simply delicious and prepared with such attention to detail. The smørrebrød were also incredibly tasty—perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Definitely worth a visit.

12/09/2026: The food was fantastic, however not having physical menus was really unexpected and frankly felt quite cheap. I was with my elderly grandmother who obviously needed quite an extensive explanation on how to look at it and though a small thing, genuinely took away from the experience.

31/08/2026: Absolutely excellent meal, the meat could be chewed with the eyelashes, of course we didn't, we used our teeth. The service can't be complained about either. All in all a really good experience.

15/08/2026: I cannot recommend this restaurant. I have been to the restaurant since it opened and the food was amazing back then. Later I came there several times when they offered brunch but I stopped coming after an unpleasant experience. I tried to buy some pancakes separately for my son but the owner said that it was not possible and that my son, even though he was only 3 years old, would have to pay for the brunch because he was taking up a seat at the table. Of course we had no problem paying as that was the restaurant's rule. Many years passed. On another Google Maps profile that I had previously, the owner even asked me to pay for my review and called me a liar. He claimed that the restaurant had never had brunch. However, I could confirm through pictures that they did offer brunch at the time I wrote my first review. In 2026 I decided to return to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday. To my great surprise there was absolutely no change. The service is still very poor. I came with an open mind and hoped for a new experience, so that I could maybe change my opinion about the place, but unfortunately nothing had improved. We ordered a juice, which took almost 20 minutes to arrive. My meat came cold inside, but I chose not to ask for it to be exchanged because I did not want to appear difficult or demanding. This was especially because another guest at a neighboring table asked for his meat to be exchanged, precisely because it was cold, and was told that he did not understand anything about meat. I will simply NEVER return to this restaurant. I have already told some of my friends that if they have a party or other gathering at this place, I will decline the invitation. I do not want to spend almost 1,200 kr. for four people to be treated badly and receive such poor service. Good luck to those who choose to visit the place. I sincerely hope that you will have a better experience and that you will receive the good service that you should expect.

07/08/2026: Had diner here on our Copenhagen city trip. Friendly place, nice staff. Not very touristy, more of a neighbourhood place. Good food in generous portions. Local beers, nice wine selection.

12/08/2026: I ordered the smoothie bowl there, it was very tasty and healthy. And it was also quite cheap, so perfect for a German like me. 😂

26/08/2026: Good fish and chips🐟 We especially liked the batter, it had an almost curry-spiced flavour to it. We couldn’t quite put our finger on what it was, but it tasted really nice! We also liked the outdoor seating, where you can sit and watch everyone walking and cycling past. Service was quick too

21/08/2026: Interesting menu, but it was not flavourful enough, if they improve on this point it would deserve 4.5 stars which the note of a good restaurant 🙂
