01/07/2026: Love the decor and the atmosphere. Huge selection of different gins and lots of different gin drinks. The price is disappointing, it's not more than one drink. As much as I would have liked to try more.

01/09/2026: If you want quality, good price and beautiful surroundings, and just want a fantastic food experience, then you go here.
We ordered 2 x smørrebrød (the small light one) a shrimp dish and a moule Frit.
Everything was of the best quality, tasted fantastic, no but it is a fantastic place.
Not the last time we come here.
31/08/2026: service is nice enough, but the food is bad and expensive. For example, I got a burger where the steaks are pre-fried, and they admitted that. So they are dry and cold. The rest wasn't too good either. It didn't taste bad, but most canteens at workplaces in the country can deliver something a little more exciting.

22/08/2026: On the street they advertise to-go sandwiches for 85,- We buy 3, believing that we can take them with us to the bench. They are served in flamingo boxes. But they are not suitable for eating outdoors. Everything is out of place in the box. We quickly see this and ask if we can borrow cutlery and then eat outside on the street. We are not allowed to. Huge arrogance from the waiter, who wants the difference paid after which we have to bother moving everything onto a plate that is far too small.
The most arrogant teenage waiter service in Ebeltoft.
22/08/2026: Bad service from extremely arrogant kitchen staff.
Came in to order 3 x take away sandwiches. The sandwiches are not to-go friendly at all, as the contents are chopped into a thousand pieces, so I ask cautiously if we can sit down and pay for the extras, as we can't go and eat them at the same time, which was the plan. At first no problem from a nice woman at the bar, who doesn't want extras and hands us cutlery. But then a blond guy comes flying from the kitchen and is so insulted by us. Rolls huge eyes at us and the woman marches into the kitchen.
Find another place to eat lunch in Ebeltoft. That money is much better spent somewhere where the staff is not so arrogant. :)

I can only recommend staying far away from that place.
14/08/2026: After drinking two beers, I asked for a water refill, which cost me 24 DKK. I found this outrageous.

23/02/2026: Irish pub with a lovely atmosphere. Approximately 20 exceptional beers on tap. Delicious whiskeys invite you to linger. No food is served.

02/08/2026: I go into the pizzeria and order a pizza and fries. I'm told it'll be ready in 30 minutes.
So I go for a walk and come back 15 minutes later.
I sit down and wait, and I see a pizza standing in the oven,
While I'm waiting.
I get the feeling that it's the same as the last time I picked up 2 pizzas. They had been sitting in the oven for so long that what they gave me was disgusting.
Back to today, when I've been sitting and waiting for 10 minutes, they put the fries on top, which they're finishing, and sure enough, they go over with the fries on the tray that's been in the oven for my 15 minutes. And hand them to me.
I ask them if they can't give me a correct waiting time, so that I don't have to go back with cold, boring food.
The response I get: None!! All 3 men look down and ignore me, so I ask again.
Then they offer to heat it again!!?
No more recommendation from here for that place, quite the opposite!!
The old owner was so good, it's a shame his successor is so miserable.

11/12/2023: We were going to hold an event at the café in November. The buffet was excellent, but much of the food was store-bought food that was simply heated. A bit disappointing. The service from the youth workers was quite nice, but the service from what I assume is the owner was apathetic. No interest in providing any kind of service. We got the impression that we were a nuisance by coming. We certainly won't bother organizing anything there again. Our guests also commented that she was rude - both to them, but also to her employees. The youth workers also seemed to be a little "afraid" of her. At one point she was sitting at a table next to the bar with some friends, directing the youth workers what to do. That's not a particularly good signal to send to your guests.
09/12/2023: My boyfriend and I had called the café to see if we could use our smartbox at their place. Our smartbox was for brunch for 2 people. We were told by an employee on the phone that it was valid for both people and that we could just come down and have brunch and then "pay" with our smartbox. When we had eaten and were going over to "pay", they suddenly wanted us to pay 189 kr for the food. My boyfriend and I said that we had called and were told that the smartbox was valid for both of us. So we did not want to pay. After some time of discussing with the employees, we were allowed to leave without paying anything else.
It's a shame that it will ruin our experience. We will never buy a smartbox again or go to that café.
