12/09/2025: Cheap, but not particularly good sushi.

31/08/2025: Food was good. Many sushi options. But we had to wait 30 mins in between our orders. we tried ad libitum option which gives you 2 hours of unlimited sushi but we waited 30 mins with no food after our 2nd order. i suggest you order a a big menu twice so even if they are busy thing like this wont happen.

16/12/2025: 2-3 bites and i was done. Probably the worst sharwarma meat I've ever had.

14/12/2025: Ordered a “shawarma sandwich” menu which includes a pita bread, fries, mayo and a drink. The pita bread was seriously underwhelming with extremely dry meat and a tasteless salad. The fires where under salted and cooked in unchanged black oil. The mayo was from a packet that you had to press out. Lastly the drink I ordered was a Coca Cola which came in a 25cl cup with two ice cubes. Overall disappointing experience which felt like a tourist scam

01/08/2025: They have a nice courtyard, but it needs to be cleaned up and the garden needs a loving hand. There is the opportunity to cook something really good. The staff is friendly. But the food was terrible! There was an incredibly thin chicken fillet in the chicken burger. At first I actually thought they had forgotten the chicken. The fries looked like something from the bottom of the fryer. 1/3 were inedible. In short. Everything was dry. The chicken salad was also boring with dry chicken. Really disappointing, because it is nice to sit in their courtyard, despite the lack of loving hand.

08/07/2025: From the time we arrived until we received our order, it took 45 minutes. There was a lack of oversight. Orders were taken haphazardly, and when the waiter came with orders, it was difficult for him to find the right table.

20/12/2025: We ordered the Hawaiian and came to park to eat it. very delicious, the sauce cheese and dough where really really good!

10/05/2025: Lovely vibe. It feels like an open living room in the city. I’m not a big wine guy myself and still enjoyed myself. Theres a pool table in the back and other games to play too. Good terrace too. Service was friendly.

28/05/2026: It's rare to find a gas station so uncompromisingly committed to the concept of culinary time travel. While searching for a late-night novelty drink, I had the remarkable experience of purchasing a product that had passed its best-before date several months ago with admirable nonchalance. What was particularly impressive was the consistency with which this establishment defends its quality philosophy. Instead of being bothered by banal concepts like "food safety" or "customer service," the employee reacted with a mixture of indifference, dismissiveness, and professional rudeness that almost deserves praise. At no point did I get the feeling that energy was being wasted unnecessarily on problem-solving. Even more reassuring, however, was the realization that the other expired products were, of course, allowed to remain on the shelf. Continuity is clearly paramount here. Why change a system that works? In a time when companies constantly talk about innovation, it's almost refreshing to experience a place that stubbornly clings to the food standards of an abandoned highway kiosk from the early 2000s. So, if you've ever wanted to play Russian roulette with food while simultaneously experiencing the emotional warmth of a parking meter, this is the place for you. My regards.

27/05/2026: I wanted to return a product that had expired months ago, even though I had bought it that same day. The only solution the rude saleswoman offered was that I could buy the same product (also expired) again. No thanks. I'd rather have no service at all than 24 hours of terrible service!

19/04/2026: Took me 1 hour to wait for a salad

23/03/2026: First of all, the portions were small. Additionally, when we went with my friend, the food arrived late. After the food arrived, a woman, whom I assumed was the manager (not a waitress), kept hovering around us. She kept saying things to the waitress while looking at us. Then, the waitress, looking embarrassed, took our food away before we had finished. When she brought our bill, she went into a room and watched us through the gap in the door. When I looked back, she closed the door. As we were leaving, she was looking at where we had sat and saying something to the waitress. I am a respected doctor in my country. I am in a position to pay the bill. I can pay. My clothing wasn't problematic either. I think the blonde woman, whom I assume is the manager, is problematic. I also think she didn't treat the waiters well. I've told every friend in my country who goes there never to go. And never go. It's a business I don't want to see making money.

28/05/2026: Friendly staff. The coffee and pastries are delicious, and the price-performance ratio is reasonable for Copenhagen.

07/09/2025: A long overdue review for a place that left Lasting Impression of Danish Cuisine. Even after years have passed, my memory of dining at Almanak in Copenhagen is as vivid as ever. My culinary journey through Northern Europe led me to this stunning restaurant, and I was immediately struck by its elegant design and well-thought-out decor. From the meticulous table settings to the beautifully curated menu, every detail was perfect. The service was impeccable and a true highlight of the evening. The staff's ability to not only deliver each dish but also to passionately explain its preparation and ingredients added a layer of depth to the experience. Their positive energy and knowledge made the meal even more memorable. I opted for the three-course menu, which was a masterpiece of Danish flavours. The salt and sugar cured pike perch with beans and rapeseed oil was fresh and delicate. The main course, organic chicken with brown butter, carrot and elderflower, was a comforting and sophisticated dish. The dessert—black currant, salt caramel malt, and tarragon—was so incredible that it seemed to disappear the moment it was placed in front of me. The food was absolutely delicious, and I still commend the chefs for their masterful presentation of classic Danish cuisine. Even tho I missed a visit on my current trip, I am eagerly looking forward to returning to Almanak in the coming months, confident that the quality and integrity of their food remain just as exceptional as I remember.

30/08/2025: We had ordered an early bird for the price, the food was fine. There is only a wine list, it would have been helpful to have a list of other drinks as well, so the waiter has to try to remember which beers or sodas they have. If you manage to get in, you can. If you come outside the opera's opening hours, it is almost impossible to find your way in. All doors are locked, there is only a sign for a cafe that was closed. You have to call the restaurant so that an employee can come down and pick you up. It would save everyone time and resources if it was communicated that you had to call and where you had to stand to get in. The view is nice from the restaurant, but better from the balcony.

30/06/2025: Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at Watami in Valby, which I feel the need to share so that others know what they are getting into. The food was generally tasteless, and the sushi was poorly made – the rolls fell apart, and it seemed sloppy and unprofessional. Everything was served at once, which meant that the food quickly became cold and dry. The toilet conditions were downright disgusting. There was no light, no napkins, and the cleaning tools were openly displayed in a messy corridor by the toilets. A clever way to hide the standard of cleaning. It did not seem hygienic or well thought out. The tables in the restaurant were greasy and full of fingerprints. When I asked for the table to be cleaned, it was quickly wiped with a very wet dishcloth – without any kind of soap or disinfectant. You really wonder if the staff is even trained in basic food safety and hygiene – because the whole experience was absolutely not characterized by that. Finally, it was time for dessert. The table was not cleared of empty plates and leftovers. Everything was left behind. When we got the dessert (a so-called crème brûlée), it was neither crispy on top nor creamy. All in all, a really disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Watami Valby to anyone – neither because of the quality of the food, the hygiene nor the service.

24/06/2025: Delicious sushi but small portions

22/05/2026: Ordered 85 pieces of sushi for 4 adults thought it was enough 😂 But it wasn't, the sushi pieces were only half of what Sushi normally is - so that's why their offer on Sushi wasn't a good offer. So you just got cheated again 😂😂 By the way, it was very difficult to communicate with the staff. We were 4 adults I write and a child of 1 1/2 years who by the way didn't like Sushi - and don't say I'm lying 😡 EXCELLENT SUSHI, BUT VERY SMALL PIECES. DIFFICULT TO COMMUNICATE WITH !!

18/10/2025: A small, cozy eatery with lots of charm and a great atmosphere. Their smørrebrød is really delicious – served on freshly baked rye bread and with classic, tasty combinations that are right in the cupboard. For the hungry, two pieces are plenty to fill you up, and the most challenging part of the visit is actually choosing between all the tempting variants on the menu. A place I can highly recommend if you appreciate good, traditional smørrebrød made with care.

11/10/2025: Terrible food experience. We had fish'n'chips and a burger. It seemed like everything was made straight from the freezer. The veggie burger was dry and almost inedible. Vegetables were left out. The food does not justify the price in any way. The staff were really nice and attentive, but the restaurant itself is worn out and dirty.
