21/02/2025: Food was so delicious 😋 The environment was eye soothing 🌿

21/02/2025: The lady at the checkout sits with airpods in her ears when we enter the restaurant. We ordered a Nacho and a loaded fries that resembled something made in a microwave. We also ordered a samosa and one with dumplings, which tasted semi-finished, greasy and with little filling. When paying, we could see into the kitchen, where it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for quite a while as it was only us who were there when we arrived and only two other tables were set when we left.

13/10/2025: Really lousy Thai! We bought 4 dishes to Go. One with chicken sour/sweet sauce, one with cabbage garlic chicken and twice a noodle dish with duck. We have bought from Kinkin in Nørrebro before which was fantastic. But we were disappointed. The duck was tough and boring and tasted more like Indian curry than Thai. The strangest thing was that the dish was topped with 3 slices of pickled cucumber. The two dishes with rice were boring and poorly flavored. We will not be back and cannot recommend the place.

28/09/2025: Really delicious food, large portions and very reasonable prices. Always nice and attentive service in the restaurant, without a doubt the best in Valby.

09/07/2025: I ordered a Pizza and fry to take out. I went there on time to collect the food. But The food was not ready. I waited for 25 minutes and then I decided to go without food as I have some other things to do. I request him for a refund and he got furious. He replied me in a bad way which I didn't like. And then we had some hot conversation and left the place with a promise not to going there anymore.

14/12/2025: To be avoided. We had a business dinner and they were unable to provide separate receipts. When we tried to explain our situation, they responded arrogantly and rudely. Excessive price in relation to what was offered.

14/12/2025: Tourist trap .. I've been to many restaurants in my life: some good, some bad, some great. This restaurant, by far, was the worst experience I've ever had. The food and service were horrible. The waiter knew nothing and couldn't answer our questions. We asked him what cheese came on the hamburger. He said, "Where are you guys from?" We said, "New York." He replied, "Oh, well, we're not in New York. You only get one cheese, and that's it." Yet, he couldn't tell us what that one cheese was. Everything was one—no options. My friend ordered the lobster soup. There was no lobster in it; it was disgusting. She didn't even eat it, and they took it away. I ordered the tenderloin. I was not asked how I wanted it cooked or if I had an option of fries over potatoes.. Worst I've ever had .. picture is 2 burned shrimps 🍤

08/03/2026: Prolly the only J&the J that has normal music volume, not deafening like all the others. Their sandwiches are still the best, although pricey. The strawberry juice with vanilla milk is lush!

24/01/2026: Ordered via Wolt from your store in Christianshavn, the drink I received tasted far from anything that should be consumed, I have otherwise had the drink many times before, when I complained about Wolt, our courier could not get in touch with you. I order a lot from Wolt and am very disappointed, but this is definitely the last time I have ordered from your chain, especially when you allow yourself to charge 90+ kr for a smoothie. As I also told the courier, I was not interested in the money back but just a new one but never got through to you and now the result is just that I will not come again, oops.

09/09/2025: Beautiful place for a coffee break. It is a shopping center and hosts the cafeteria. Like in all countries of the world, cafes in shopping centers.

26/08/2025: Fillings in sandwiches are non-existent at their countrywide. Ate at their place in Fields about 1 year ago where I got a sandwich with almost no filling. Will give them a chance, now at Fisketorvet and buy a bagel for 77 kr. Looks nice and it is freshly made but when I open it there are 6 small pieces of avocado. Goes up with it and here is the answer is that everything looks according to their guidelines.

18/06/2026: I am very disappointed with the service I received this morning. This review concerns the employee with dark, short, pageboy hair who served me this morning. I asked for a Christianshavnerbrød. The employee asked if I wanted Christianshavnerbrød or Christianshavnerboller. I clearly replied that I wanted Christianshavnerbrød. Yet she asked the same question again, and I repeated once more that I wanted Christianshavnerbrød. Throughout the entire process, she seemed impatient and rude. She sighed several times and spoke in a tone that made me feel like a burden rather than a customer. It seemed as if she was not listening to what I was saying. The experience was so unpleasant that I chose to leave the bread and leave the store without buying anything. Instead, I went to another bakery nearby and bought my bread there. Good customer service is not just about the products, but also about the way customers are treated. Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to the level one should expect.

07/03/2026: This unique institution of a bar, opened in 1953 in tribute to the legendary Galathea expedition, is now magnificently restored and reopened by a top management team as the most buzzing adult bar in Copenhagen, with stunning artifacts from every step of the expedition. We were in on a Friday evening for cocktails, Gammel Dansk, and cold beer on draught at fair prices, the whole evening settling somewhere around DKK 500, which is frankly an act of generosity. It looks precisely as it always did, which is to say like nowhere else on earth. If you have ever wanted a bar that feels like a cultured, well-traveled adult made it for other cultured, well-traveled adults, this is it. Copenhagen is blessed to have it back in an upgraded version.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

13/02/2026: I've been waiting for 2.5 years for Galathea Kroen to open. I've been walking back and forth while they renovated, watching the colors bubble up on the wall, the zebra rug take its original place, and wondering if they would have Black Bird beer on the menu again. After a long time, the day came when my friends and I were supposed to go to our favorite inn... But we weren't allowed to get a seat because it's now reserved for 35+. The group I went with was between 27 and 31. We were allowed to stay, but "no more of our kind were allowed to come." We were allowed to come by on a Tuesday, "when it's not that busy anyway," because they obviously want my money on a Tuesday with a poor population. I was looking forward to it, but now you're apparently not welcome unless you have structural defects, a summer house, and silver fillings in your teeth.

23/10/2025: Terrible experience!! The service was horrible, we were treated terribly. Very expensive for what it is, and the quality is very low. No one should waste their time or money!

04/10/2025: Great service with very special coctails by Stefano. He is very knowledgable and talented. You can think of spending an afternoon to turn shitty day into a pleasant one.

05/09/2025: The food we ordered was good and the beers excellent. The service could be improved; in my opinion, there shouldn't be any need to ask for cutlery and napkins; they should be brought with the order.

04/09/2025: Lived up to previous visits in every way. Bad ordering experience, slow, impersonal and unfriendly service - sick food. Sad that they take up so much space, in such a good location. Think it will be a few years before they see me again

03/04/2026: I picked up some delicious sweet bowls to eat. The service was very friendly!

08/03/2026: The sandwich didn't taste like anything. Half of the filling was bean sprouts and it was generally difficult to hold the sandwich in while eating it. Probably because the bread was a bit dry.

27/07/2025: The first thing that struck me when I walked in was the smell of reused oil which made me gag. We chose to sit outside thinking it could be better. Then we saw rats! Pretty cute but not in a restaurant. We had already placed our order, which was a sub- standard, reeking of the same oil obviously. The only safe item we had was probably beer. While we felt bad for the owners because they're clearly struggling to keep their business running, this place is a health hazard.

28/06/2025: It's delicious sushi and a large selection for vegetarians. The staff is accommodating to extra requests, there is always room in the restaurant and orders are ready on time :)

23/05/2026: KFC is not located at this point of view; instead, there is a gas station.
