18/09/2025: The food was 1 hour and 45 minutes late.

30/08/2025: We were a group of 55 people, and we were more than satisfied with the food and the service. They have handled an unforgettable evening for all of us. We have enjoyed it both adults and children. The food was beyond expectations. We got all types of barbecue meat, the kebab was very fresh and delicious, marinated chicken, sausages and much more. The dessert was fantastic, vanilla ice cream with rhubarb dressing😋. So tasty. Thank you to the restaurant, thank you to the staff who were smiling and helpful.

18/04/2026: Staff were friendly, but the pizza was average at best and I thought a little on the small size, especially for the price.

02/11/2025: On our Sunday afternoon stroll, we sought to escape the noise of the city center, but unfortunately ended up on Aarhus Ø, where everything is even noisier. We sought shelter from concrete, construction and bourgeois election posters. Luckily, we came across the Generations House, where a well-meaning young person immediately saw us and our needs. Before we could even lower our shoulders, we were offered coffee. Wonderful. Monica (the waiter) created a relaxed atmosphere and a safe space in which we could enjoy the coffee and each other's company. Øens madhus (and Monica) only wish you the best

16/12/2025: Ordered a wrap with fries twice as a menu. Got the food after about 15 minutes. The fries were good, hot and with a good spicy taste. On the other hand, the wraps were not very good. The meat was cold in both wraps. Asked if the meat was supposed to be cold and it wasn't. But the clerk couldn't take it back because we had taken a bite of the food. We could then get a small cup of meat that was heated up. And then we had to make do with the bread we had been given with the cold meat (which we had to try to peel out without ruining the rest of the bread). Not a very good experience when you pay almost 250,- for such menus.

11/12/2025: I’ve had malawach plenty of times, but never as a wrap like this. It works so well. The dough stays warm and flaky, and the fillings sit right in that sweet spot between comforting and fresh. The sauces really bring it together. The zaatar fries were the surprise highlight. Crisp, salty, and packed with flavor. Dipping them in hummus felt a little wrong at first, then instantly right. I’d come back just for that combo. Such a fun take on a dish I thought I already knew. Tasty across the board.

09/10/2025: Was recommended a sandwich by the employee, which ended up being a surprising disappointment. Good bread, ready-made chicken strips, ready-made nachos, a little cheese, a little ready-made salad. Not much work for them to do themselves.

13/06/2026: Angry, totally disconnected young girl who seemed to want to be anywhere else. Stupid to insist on bringing my otdre for delivery to the far end of the counter, even though I was sitting right in front.

09/06/2026: It's just a really cozy place and their iced coffee just tastes really good and their cake tastes lovely.

28/11/2025: Good, local pizza - a few notches better than the usual Turkish layer cake, or the Arabic open sandwiches, you can otherwise get in Højbjerg.

26/11/2025: Super delicious pizza and really good service! The staff is always smiling, warm and friendly, so you feel welcome from the first moment. I would especially like to highlight the pizza baker - his positive energy and warm personality make every visit something very special. I always come here with pleasure, and can highly recommend the place to everyone who loves good food and a warm atmosphere.

07/12/2025: It's not my first time here, and it won't be my last. This time we tried a new pizza and another appetizer; as always, the service and quality were excellent.

14/11/2025: The food was good. However the rest wasn’t so nice. We were first able to sit at our table 20 minutes after the time we had reserved for. I had the menu gusto. The pesto came without bread. For the bread I had to pay 35 DK extra. The stracciatella was not tasting good at all. The Nduja pizza tasted good. Price was a little bit high too high, but okay. I payed 310 DK. All in all, it was a disappointing experience :(

18/05/2026: May 2023: Really expensive, but it was nice to sit outside in the good weather. It cost about 60,- per drink. 4/5 May 2026: Really good Caesar salad. And nice shooting star with one warm fish fillet - but nothing steamed underneath. Friendly staff, they did talk about interesting things at the bar, which maybe could have waited a bit or quieted down 😅

01/05/2026: Ordered the "stove round" menu which we absolutely did not regret. All 4 dishes tasted fantastic. Each dish was beautifully presented and was an experience to eat. The service was smiling and incredibly service-minded. We give our warmest recommendations.
