03/09/2026: Really good selection – but unfortunately a disappointing first experience I was genuinely happy to find Løvegården because of their large selection of gluten-free, sugar-free and lactose-free products and had been looking forward to my first order. Unfortunately, several products arrived damaged. I contacted customer service with pictures, but was first offered a 10% discount on a future order and then referred to GLS. When I asked them to reconsider the matter and decide on my complaint, the communication stopped, and I never received a reply to my last email. It's really a shame, because I had actually expected to become a regular customer. A good selection means a lot – but the way you are greeted when something goes wrong matters at least as much.

16/08/2026: What a delightful discovery! KunstCaféen Blokhus is highly recommended for a relaxing break. We actually just popped in for a quick hot chocolate, but were greatly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The friendliness of the staff is truly heartwarming. Not only for us, but our dog was immediately thought of too: a bowl of water was ready right away, and he was spoiled with a few tasty dog ​​treats! Incredibly sweet and incredibly thoughtful. And the hot chocolate? It was delicious, made perfect by the lovely fresh cookies served alongside it. KunstCaféen Blokhus is truly a wonderful place where both humans and four-legged friends feel more than welcome. We will definitely be back!

14/07/2026: Here at the harbor there is no outdoor seating with a view of the harbor. The food and cake look really impressive. Very large sandwiches and huge portions of mussels for example. The service is friendly and smiling.

30/08/2026: Nice place in the middle of Frederikshavn. Cozy atmosphere. Good service and classic bistro food with an extra twist as well as many good classics.

13/08/2026: Cool vibe, and tasty food. Was pretty full when we went during a weekday lunch, had to wait about 30min. Portions are pretty big, we ended up just sharing one dish and taking the other one as take out. You order by the fresh fish counter and then get a number to wait. No dogs allowed indoors. There are a two tabbles outside, but most are indoors.

30/06/2026: My partner and I are greeted by polite staff and can choose a table outside. I choose a bun with butter and West Sea cheese, and of course expect a large portion of a bun with butter and cheese for 65 kr. (most other cafes charge between 35-40 kr for a BMO). Unfortunately, I am disappointed as one bun is divided into seven pieces, which are only three slices of cheese, and one tiny little packet of butter. Furthermore, it is a rather dry and chewy pleasure to eat the bun. I would probably have just chosen to divide the bun in two, so it required 2 pieces of toppings, rather than 7. My partner gets a slice of bread with tomato, three pieces of salmon and half an avocado on top. It tasted fine, but was incredibly difficult to eat, as it all falls apart, with such a presentation. Furthermore, he orders an espresso macchiato. There is a slight misunderstanding with the order, and he receives a latte macchiatto instead. He goes in and asks if it can be true, and is greeted by a rude waiter who immediately brushes him off. So he doesn't end up getting what he ordered, and we end up with a rather bad overall impression of the place. We did get a carrot cake, which was good, and all the other cakes looked good too. Based on our experience, Penny Lane Café can be recommended for coffee and cake, but nothing more than that.

25/06/2026: Wow! What a beautiful "place" in Aalborg. I don't even want to call it a café, because it's not really one. You can find something wonderful in every corner. The treats on offer look amazing. The prices are all reasonable. If you're ever in Aalborg, come here and take your time. Addendum: I haven't said anything about the fantastic staff. After visiting them twice over three days, a blonde lady really came across: always friendly, always smiling. She's the best service staff; you'd want to go to her restaurant or café. Plus, she's beautiful :-) I hope the Google Translate text is understandable :-)
