22/10/2025: The food was average, the staff was very angry, the atmosphere was sad, they could do with smiling at the guests a little, after all, they are the ones who pay their salaries

31/03/2026: We have always loved their pizzas, but after the whole family got sick with severe diarrhea and vomiting, we don't dare to get pizza there again. The only one in the family who didn't get sick was the 3-year-old who luckily didn't eat any of the pizza😅😬

30/11/2025: This has been one of my favorite cafes for several years, but it's over now. Because WHAT is the point of a code on the door to the toilet? That you have to stand in a queue that is at least 10 minutes long and ask for a code to a toilet door. It's absolutely ridiculous! I can understand from the staff that it's because they don't want people from outside to use the toilet. That attitude is both hopelessly old-fashioned and completely Unsympathetic. We are in North Jutland!!!

14/10/2025: buy some cocoa powder, mix it with milk and 1L small ice cubes for the same taste experience of a “Chocolate Frapino”

16/01/2026: The food is Oki there. But the temperature in the restaurant is low. Very low. We sat and froze. Changed tables to see if that helped. Asked if they could turn up the heat. The friendly employee didn't dare to mess with it. So it wasn't a pleasure at all.

10/01/2026: Unfortunately, it was not a very good experience. We sat for about 30 minutes before our order was taken, even after I had gone up to ask. When we arrived, we were told that the staff would come down to the table and take the order. The food was served at intervals of about 10 minutes. The pizzas came first, and then it took another 10 minutes before the schnitzel and burger were served. It was a shame that the food did not come at the same time, and the burger was also not hot when it was served. The restaurant had also made a post on Facebook that you get a free soda for the rest of the year. We were questioned by the staff twice, even after we had pointed out the post. Only after repeated dialogue was the offer accepted, and here it was also made very clear that it was a small soda. All in all, it was unfortunately not a successful first experience at Botan.

16/10/2025: We visited Leo’s Playland in October 2025 and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The temperature inside was very low – it was actually warmer outside than inside. The ventilation system blows cold air directly onto the children, making it uncomfortable to stay there for long. Nothing has changed in many years – there are no new attractions or improvements. The set-up is still the same as on opening day. I think it is time for Leo’s Playland to invest in something new to make the place more exciting and attractive for both children and parents.

19/08/2025: Great indoor playground, nice and friendly staff, good prices, and the food was also very good and fresh. The kids had a great time; the kids were very well looked after. Remember to use your parking disc and register at the entrance. Otherwise, it'll be expensive. 😉

09/04/2026: Went in to eat yesterday 8/4 and must admit I was disappointed with the place. I have nothing good to say about the place in any way, the food didn't taste like Chinese and didn't taste like wild food and had no idea what you were getting as only half of it said what it was and the service wasn't great, a trainer was standing with his mobile on and didn't welcome. So all in all, I don't understand being part of the Chinese wall family as the standard but I'm used to other places is somewhat higher and here the place in Aars can't live up to it

04/03/2026: Really poor food. Boring selection, and the food tasted the same.

12/04/2026: Super good evening at Strandhotellet. We had super delicious food and wine with good service. We were even driven home by the lovely waiter Ronnie, who took pity on us when we couldn't get a taxi home to our summer house.

22/12/2025: On June 7, 2025, we held our wedding at Egholm Vestergaard. Already during the first conversation and tour of Vestergaard, we were sold on the place, there is an incredible calm over the fantastic buildings and you feel very welcome. It was a perfect experience to hold our wedding at Egholm Vestergaard, everything went perfectly and everyone had a fantastic party with top-class food and drinks. Jens and Daniel are incredibly good hosts and have complete control and a huge knowledge of everything from food and drinks to the premises. We can definitely recommend holding a party at Egholm Vestergaard.

16/10/2025: We had a luxury brunch today. Super friendly staff and good food. Definitely recommend taking a trip to Kaffebaren Øgaden. Cozy place in quiet surroundings and there is even 1 hour of free parking right outside the door, where there is a large parking lot just up from Parken. The premises are really 'warm' with good colors and cozy furnishings with the option to sit in a real corner or facing the street. The price is definitely spot on, so it's definitely not the last time we come by for brunch.

02/09/2025: I've never been there before and I won't be back. The staff was super nice and smiling so it's all about the experience and price vs. quality. This tiny plate with two mini spring rolls from the freezer, 10-12 limp fries, burnt and dry rice, an egg bathed in oil and then some melon and raisins for almost 80 kroner.. The amount of almost 80 kroner is irrelevant - it doesn't break the budget. But the price in relation to the amount of food and the quality of it is such a mismatch that I would honestly be ashamed if I demanded such an amount from a customer. My son was hungry and we tried - and it was definitely a one-off performance. But nice people - they should be given credit for that after all. But will I come back? Never.

08/03/2026: I've been here several times before and the service and food were really good, but yesterday, my boyfriend and I walked out without eating anything. We arrived a bit early and were told we could have a table on the close side as soon as they cleared it. No problem. We were a bit early, so waiting was just fine. They never cleaned the table. Or any table. We and another couple were taken to the other side of the band. We passed several tables with mountains of dirty plates, including some guests still eating. We waited 20 minutes to be seated when they had available seats. When we were finally seated, we were behind a few family with kids, and those kids ran wild around the place, screaming and without shoes. The children had their hands in their mouths and noses, and were reaching into the conveyor, reaching over the belt to food on the other side that was on the way to us to get what they wanted. They were touching the belt and other food. I understand that it's not the restaurant who controls the children, but there needs to be rules to keep guests from contaminating food. Furthermore, there WAS no food. There were some warm "child friendly" things like nuggets and fries, and there were slices of cake, wasabi, and perhaps 2 plates of sushi on the entire belt. We waited at least 10 minutes afer waiting 20 minutes to be seated for the server to come and take our drink orders where I had seen enough to say we wouldn't be ordering and left. I informed them of the cleanliness of the situation. I get that the restaurant is family owned, but there also needs to be a distinction between home and business. The owners' own children were running around and throwing things, and when we left, they had taken a gas torch from the kitchen (we saw him go into the food prep area and take it) and was setting off fireworks right outside the door to the restaurant. They literally had to move aside so we could come out.

28/02/2026: The food is exciting and there is plenty of it. Can recommend both ala carte and running sushi/wok. The restaurant is also extremely family/child friendly The menu occasionally gets new exciting dishes and the restaurant's expression also changes continuously. Nice to see a good place develop positively. You can eat really full when you choose Running sushi - in any case you are not missing out if you are not.
