19/08/2026: There was only one thing to complain about with the meal... We couldn't finish it.

16/08/2026: Saturday 15/08/2026 We visited Sizzlers SteakHouse, And I must honestly admit that this is the last time we will go there. We arrive at about 1830 4 people, and the place is half empty, we are seated and the waiter quickly takes our order for food and drinks. And after that it goes completely wrong. We sit and wait almost 1.5 hours for our food, and can see all the other tables doing the same. We do not get any message from the staff about anything about the extremely long wait, (due to understaffing, we heard them talking about) neither when we were seated or ordered, nor during the wait. The food came at about the same time, but the tables around us got their food with up to 15 minutes difference. When we have to pay, I ask a little cheekily if there was any discount due to the 1.5 hour wait, then he just laughs. No apology or much regret from the staff. Would I recommend the place to others: never Regards Søren

24/07/2026: No seating options outside, extremely crowded as there was a sporting event across the street

06/07/2026: Opening time is not accurate, on the door it’s open from 08:00-01 Monday and we were waiting outside until 0840 and they did not open the door until 08:40 and just drove other places. Waited outside for 40 mints . 06/07/2026 .

31/07/2026: Had a great time, really idyllic location. Also I wish the best of rolls to whoever has the green car with the dice goblin sticker.

29/07/2026: We called to book a room as we were bringing a dog. They could offer an apartment, and I asked if they also had a slots vibe, which I was confirmed in - fair enough you don't go for a suite when you have a dog. We got an old worn and dirty apartment without any kind of charm. The dinner was actually ok, but the breakfast could be better. Probably not a place we will come back to.

23/10/2025: Located in the middle of Hjørring. Walking distance to restaurants, discos and attractions (museum and such). Nice staff! Breakfast was simple with bread, freshly baked rolls and cold cuts! Various drinks. Decent rooms with WiFi and TV. Decent bathroom. Quiet and peaceful place!

02/09/2026: No time for customers inside the store. Tables messy and dirty. Unfortunately, I got food that was cold (lukewarm) It was so busy that I couldn't bear to complain (yes, I have some diagnoses)

26/08/2026: When i order food to table I would like to get it to table and dont find out after 10 minutes its waiting on counter

09/08/2026: We were a bit skeptical due to some of the reviews, but we were not only pleasantly surprised, but would definitely come back anytime, and certainly more than once. The food is top-notch. There's an all-you-can-eat salad and potato bar. And "all you can eat" here doesn't mean a drop in quality. The salad selection is plentiful, and the potato bar, with its fries, gratin, baked potatoes, roast potatoes, and vegetable sides, is equally impressive. The steaks are truly outstanding. Delicious, cooked to perfection, just as ordered. The ribs (bones) were also excellent. And what makes a visit perfect? ​​When the service is superb. The staff was not only quick and attentive, but also happy to give tips on what to see and do nearby, or how the beers taste. We were particularly intrigued by the Porse Guld. It's a beer brewed without hops, and we really enjoyed it. Afterward, we went to the supermarket nearby to pick up a few to take home. A wonderfully harmonious little restaurant that is definitely not a typical tourist trap. Absolutely worth it. Fun fact: It used to be a disco. Our only criticism: They don't have draft beer – especially Porse Guld on tap would really enhance the place 😉

04/08/2026: Without a doubt the best meat we have had, we recommend the cutting board! Delicious side dishes and short waiting time. our waiter Martin gave fantastic service all in all a 5 star experience, we will be back

20/08/2026: Excellent open sandwiches. The rye bread is especially noteworthy. The beer is very clean in taste, a super good experience.

11/08/2026: There were 4 of us on a trip and we had lunch in the restaurant. The food came exceptionally quickly, was well prepared and tasted great. The brewery's own pilsner draft beer also tasted really good. The price was also reasonable.

03/08/2026: I think it's annoying that they no longer say the numbers on the food they put on the counter. And the number system they have, your number disappears very quickly.

14/08/2026: Javad Sandwich in Hjørring has a really large selection. Here you can get sandwiches with many different types of fillings, durum, pita kebab, burgers, kebab, chicken, falafel, fish & chips, french fries, grilled dishes, salads and various snack menus. There are also children's menus and a large selection of cold drinks. I have been here several times and think you get good food and good portions at reasonable prices. There are many choices, so there is something for most people. I know the owner personally, and he is a really nice, hardworking and diligent man who spends a lot of time and energy on his business. He takes his job seriously and does a lot for his customers.

25/06/2026: I've tried the entire city's selection of kebab mixes, and Javad's Sandwich is without a doubt the best.

12/08/2026: Unpleasant behavior from the drunk long-haired guy behind the bar. Went in for a beer with some friends, and I brought a cup of dry ‘mate herbs’ (an Argentinian tea), which is on the table next to the beer I bought at the bar (we had already bought a lot of beers at that time). The long-haired guy tells me very rudely that I can’t drink the tea and that he will pour it out for me. I try to explain to him that it’s dry herbs (there’s no liquid left in the cup, so it’s basically just a cup on the table), but he refuses to listen and just keeps making rude comments and says that I can buy tea at the bar. He also refuses to open the half-roof and/or turn on the heat lamps and is generally very rude to both me and my friends. Later he comes back and without warning takes the cup (without liquid in it) from me, says that he will pour it out and that I can get the cup at the bar when I go home. It was a crazy situation and quite uncomfortable that you couldn't have a conversation with him because he refused to listen.

10/08/2026: Young dark-haired man behind the bar refused to turn on the heat lamps upstairs because “we weren’t sitting directly under them”. In addition, he angrily approached my friend several times, who had brought her own mate tea (only leaves), and said either he would confiscate it or we had to leave. It’s a shame, hope you hire better staff :((

06/07/2026: Super cozy place🤩 I ordered my Frappe from this Starbucks and got it so quickly in less than 2 minutes. Can recommend to everyone even though it is a bit expensive😁
