05/08/2026: We visited Café Inside again, and honestly, I don't understand the bad reviews. Anyone who enters this café will find a clear and concise menu. You can order hot and cold drinks, and the food selection consists mainly of grilled and fried dishes. Over the years that we've occasionally visited Klitmøller, Café Inside has undergone a lot of changes. It's been redesigned several times. The food tastes really good, and the burgers are fantastic. We also enjoy treating ourselves to ice cream here, and it's delicious. The ambiance of Café Inside fits perfectly with the surfer spot "Cold Hawaii." The view of the North Sea is truly beautiful. When I read the questions that arise, for example, regarding gluten intolerance (one of the reviews here), I wonder how uninformed someone can be about their own intolerance, especially concerning food preparation in a café like Inside. Another reviewer complains about the café's decor. Complaining about surf-themed decorations in Cold Hawaii, surrounded by surfers? You're a real hero. Then there's another woman who has nothing good to say about the café. If you look at their profile, you'll see a Google-restricted profile, which has received some negative and incomprehensible reviews. Please find a job; your reviews are far from up to par. To some seniors who apparently can't write reviews but still have something to complain about, consider treating the owners with respect. Respectful communication looks different. The prices are typical Danish but not too expensive. Anyone who still complains about these prices should vacation in countries where it's generally cheaper. Compared to other restaurants and ice cream parlors, I think Café Inside is one of the best. They even offer ice cream for dogs.

03/08/2026: The ice cream was delicious, and the hosts were incredibly friendly. We received a warm welcome and excellent service. The shop has a lot of charm.

22/07/2026: Have had food from here several times, mostly always good but today really bad my sandwich was literally dripping wet it was almost like taking a bite of a sponge with water in it

27/02/2026: I recently visited Det Grønne Køkken in Kolding, and unfortunately it was not a good experience. During the service, my food was spilled on the floor, and I was asked to take a new portion. This can happen, and I understand that, but unfortunately it happened again shortly after. I was also very surprised by the price. For food for two people, we paid 450 DKK, even though we had not chosen the large dishes. In my opinion, the quality of the food and the price were not related, and I did not feel that it lived up to the amount we paid. At the same time, the employees generally did not seem particularly welcoming, and the older man at the cash register in particular did not appear to be smiling or service-minded. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

01/08/2026: Good coffee — big enough cup and good price. I can't recommend the food for the simple reason that I haven't eaten here 😁 And good service 👍🏼

25/07/2026: We had brownies with homemade ice cream. It was delicious and the place was very cozy. We'll definitely be back.

18/07/2026: The bottom is burnt, too much tomato sauce, almost no meat, smoking/steaming in the restaurant. No service, won't come here again. Not recommended.

24/08/2026: The food here is good, but they only have a Danish menu. Service is a bit chaotic. The restaurant is nicely decorated, modern yet atmospheric.

20/08/2026: Great little restaurant with superb food. Our group of eight ate a variety of dishes and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend the steak. I've rarely had such good meat on vacation. Reservations are recommended!

09/07/2026: I'm not a big fish eater and they didn't have the 2 things I wanted from the menu I ordered fish fillets which were OK The food took a while, but the staff was very nice and let us borrow a private room as they unfortunately don't have a changing room

26/07/2026: The food was nothing to shout hurray for. The same food drove by all the time, not much variety. We had to look for desserts for a long time. We approached the staff about it. They wanted to fix it. After 30 minutes still nothing and we decided to leave.

08/03/2026: I've been here several times before and the service and food were really good, but yesterday, my boyfriend and I walked out without eating anything. We arrived a bit early and were told we could have a table on the close side as soon as they cleared it. No problem. We were a bit early, so waiting was just fine. They never cleaned the table. Or any table. We and another couple were taken to the other side of the band. We passed several tables with mountains of dirty plates, including some guests still eating. We waited 20 minutes to be seated when they had available seats. When we were finally seated, we were behind a few family with kids, and those kids ran wild around the place, screaming and without shoes. The children had their hands in their mouths and noses, and were reaching into the conveyor, reaching over the belt to food on the other side that was on the way to us to get what they wanted. They were touching the belt and other food. I understand that it's not the restaurant who controls the children, but there needs to be rules to keep guests from contaminating food. Furthermore, there WAS no food. There were some warm "child friendly" things like nuggets and fries, and there were slices of cake, wasabi, and perhaps 2 plates of sushi on the entire belt. We waited at least 10 minutes afer waiting 20 minutes to be seated for the server to come and take our drink orders where I had seen enough to say we wouldn't be ordering and left. I informed them of the cleanliness of the situation. I get that the restaurant is family owned, but there also needs to be a distinction between home and business. The owners' own children were running around and throwing things, and when we left, they had taken a gas torch from the kitchen (we saw him go into the food prep area and take it) and was setting off fireworks right outside the door to the restaurant. They literally had to move aside so we could come out.

31/07/2026: We ordered 2 pasta dishes, super delicious and flavorful, but they lacked bread to soak up the rest of the sauce, but otherwise good portion sizes, not too big, not too small. Thanks for the food ☺️

30/07/2026: The Caesar salad was a little too “oily” for my taste - but otherwise had a good taste. (I'm used to there being only a little Caesar dressing on top), but the extremely friendly and very accommodating service and the delicious view made up for it. 😁👌🏻

26/08/2026: I really liked it, I had spaghetti bolognese, but it was a bit expensive, but it was still very tasty. I was with my family.

25/08/2026: It was good overall. We ordered pizzas, but had to ask for olive oil - which is an essential part for pizza, at least in my opinion we should have been given it from start, however it was all tasty. I can't complain on the taste of the pizza except the fact the dough was a bit too hard for me personally. The staff was friendly and nice tho. For a fast lunch with family - recommended:)
