05/08/2025: Nice young people in the restaurant and kitchen are fine. Rooms are ok and it is clean. We had booked 4 nights and after 2 the weather was bad, so we stayed at the hotel to have lunch and then go out. We couldn't get that despite it clearly stating it is possible on the hotel's website.! They didn't have time due to a party of 100 people in the evening. We could walk into town (in pouring rain and with poor walking). Another comment that they were baking bread, but my expression resulted in "I can go out and ask", but we gave up and checked out on Monday instead of Wednesday. We paid for the entire stay with all expenses, because that is what we had booked. The hotel should consider whether they will put resources in place to suit, or either run a hotel or only parties. We have now been to Hotel Søparken 3 times... first, only and last.

22/07/2026: Bought a burger and it tasted bad and was floury. The cheese was also weird, the fries were soaked in oil. I've had a bad stomach for 2 days now after this food... I don't like to leave bad feedback, but this food was unfortunately not good for either the body or the taste buds...

15/08/2026: A rare bright spot on the menu—the mere existence of a vegan dish—was enough to lure me to Bistro V. Such an offering is an absolute rarity in Denmark, where, regrettably, culinary awareness of purely plant-based cuisine is still in its infancy. But my initial optimism quickly gave way to profound disappointment. What was finally served reflected on the plate precisely the utter indifference with which the server had carried the food to the table. While the dish could be considered rudimentarily edible, it fell far short of the craftsmanship, visual finesse, and depth of flavor one would expect from an established restaurant. A minimum of dedication—whether in the kitchen or to the guest—could easily have salvaged this experience. As it stands, all that remains is the memory of a carelessly presented meal and the regret over wasted potential.

04/08/2026: A nice bistro opposite the Utzon Center. Waited 45 minutes in a half-empty bistro for a burger and a sandwich. The Danish guests who arrived after us were served first. Is it worth it? I think not.

13/08/2026: Order 2 large French fries for pick-up. Polite service, quick order. However, quite a wait and DKK 110 FOR 2 TRAYS OF FRIES. Less than net bags for DKK 12, 750 grams, MEEEEN DKK 110.........

12/08/2026: I tell the man on the phone that he has to wait because I just need to ask my girlfriend what she wants and they just hang up. Bad customer service and mediocre pizza. There are many other good pizza places in Aalborg, maybe Bella Italia with excellent customer service and food and is located 100 meters from Flamestone.

28/07/2026: Super service, service-minded staff. We ate there. Only 3 stars because the quality of the pizza was not great. I think it was baked with pure wheat flour without the use of tippo flour. There was supposed to be Gorgonzola on it, but it couldn't be tasted at all. There were many Wolt delivery people picking up pizzas. So maybe I'm just better used to it! Top marks to the staff and nice and clean everywhere.

06/04/2026: now the place usually seems to be excellent but I was there today d06-04-2026 and ordered a large grov with kebab, there was almost no meat in it, I was almost full, tasted just fine as I remember it from the past, nothing to complain about there, it just seems there is usually a lot more filling in it, it's a shame that it was almost only bread and vegetables and dressing and almost no meat

18/07/2026: The photo look better than the taste. Small size of chicken and the bread was dry. Not worth it, would eat again there. The best the chips

08/08/2026: Pew lousy food. Really a shame about the new owners. They seem completely indifferent to providing good service. Add to that a terrible place it has become.

06/07/2026: I had ordered 2 family pizzas on their website for pickup at 5:20 PM. When I got there at 5:20 PM and said I had ordered two pizzas, they asked which pizzas and for which name. I told them which pizzas I had ordered and my name and then they stood there looking at each other for a while. Afterwards they looked down at their online orders and discovered that they had not seen my order. Whether the system automatically accepts orders or whether they have to actively accept them, I don't know, but they had not started taking my order. They then said they were working on it, but they clearly weren't, as they only started taking my order after I got there and therefore had to wait almost 15 minutes to get my food. They didn't apologize or anything, which I think is poor service. Everyone can make mistakes, but at least they could have said sorry for the inconvenience. The pizzas were okay, but they didn't have much filling on them, and then it was cut like the wind blows, which was also disappointing. Not a place I would come back to.

28/07/2026: Traditional Danish restaurant, relaxed atmosphere and pub environment.

21/07/2026: A beautiful, easily accessible location with a view of the port. Abia warmly welcomes reservations in French or Italian. Impeccable cuisine in an authentic setting.

18/08/2026: Rude and unpleasant behavior. Being rudely rejected, on the grounds that they have food to take out. So the kitchen can't serve.

02/04/2026: We have been to Rebildhus for lunch twice. Both times we had open sandwiches and star-shaped cakes. They make the best fried fish fillet I have ever tasted. The open sandwiches are also really good. Pleasant service, reasonable prices. Large portions :-) The decor is a bit old-fashioned, like a real "inn", but we just think that is cozy and not something that drags us down. We will come again.
