De bedste restauranter i Frederikshavn

19/08/2025: The food is the most real, well made and just perfect there can be. They bake the bread, make the jams, cook the ham, do everything from scratch in the oldschool way. The dinner dishes was sublime. Breaded and panfried Plaice is served all over Skagen, but the one we had here was next level, there is probably not a better to be had in Denmark! The owner is a rare case of a Chef with a knowlage spanning decades and refuses to compromise on anything from breakfast to dinner, a rare gem of a Chef and a class woman. Everything we ate here was as good as oldschool, authentic homemade cooking can be. All the produce they use is of the highest quality. As a Chef myself, this is one of the Realest experiances i have ever had and a was honored to be alowed into the retro kitchen for a look. The kitchen with the 50years old stove is the cleanest kitchen i have ever seen. My only regret is not booking a longer stay, but we will come back next year.

08/08/2026: It was an exquisite experience. Nice and quiet, where people came in a scattered manner so there was no waiting time. Exciting, delicious food. Really good service. Good prices. We will definitely come again if we come to North Jutland.

16/07/2026: Absolutely beautiful place with a large selection of Belgian beer. We enjoyed several hours here with good beer, good service and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

04/08/2026: Fantastic place.. always good service in the store with the opportunity to find a little trinket for yourself and as a gift. Good toilet facilities and the world's best buttered rolls with a real sausage roll 👑 that is, if you are into that.. nothing has been spared here!

25/07/2026: We tried to eat here yesterday but were sent away because the takeaway orders were more important and otherwise we would have had to wait one and a half to two hours before we got anything to eat. So, not recommended for us.

02/08/2026: Mixed feelings. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exceptionally friendly. We made the mistake of not converting the prices – our mistake, as we expected tourist prices in a touristy place, not Michelin-starred ones. For one vegetarian dish, one dish consisting of three small slices of bread generously topped with salad, three pieces of cake, and four drinks, we paid €120. That beats even Lake Zurich.

25/06/2026: It was pricey, but the shrimp with homemade hearty sourdough bread, homemade mayonnaise and poached egg were of very good quality.

20/08/2026: We spent the end of our day there today after a wonderful day in Skagen. The service was excellent, and even our two dogs were no problem. The food was fantastic, and the sheltered terrace was very cozy. We'd love to come back.

20/08/2026: Nice environment and a nice restaurant, but hardly worth the price. The food was not that impressive, the plaice was too hard fried and the sauce (browned butter with capers) tasted neither of butter nor of capers, but rather consisted mostly of cooking oil, and the cooked fish tasted of nothing.

19/08/2026: Generous portions. Rustic yet comfortable. The fish soup and salmon are delicious. I recommend it for a hearty but affordable meal.

02/09/2026: Cozy place on the harbor, especially in the summer when it is also filled with vintage vehicles.
