23/08/2026: We sat on the sheltered terrace with our dog. They even provided a special blanket for dogs. The service was friendly and the delicious food arrived quickly. We found the price more than fair for the quality.
Highly recommended!

09/10/2025: My husband and I were coming back from watching the black sun starlings (which was an amazing experience) and we were cold and hungry. This cozy restaurant exceeded expectations in its welcome and warmth. I have a life threatening allergy due to alpha-gal allergy I developed from a tick bite. Which means I can’t eat any mammal meat or dairy at this time. Our waiter and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate me and created new additions to the fish dish that were delicious. The fresh beets and potatoes were so amazing as well! I highly recommend!

03/08/2026: Fantastic evening at Restaurant Kædeby Café we enjoyed the food at the tables outside with a beautiful and cozy atmosphere.
The food was absolutely fantastic. With a cozy and friendly service that was very attentive to their guests.
Not the first time we enjoy the food from Restaurant Kædeby but certainly not the last.
We look forward to coming back.

24/07/2026: Really cozy inn with a good buffet for young and old. The meat was juicy and you had to cut it yourself. Everyone left full and satisfied and for a very reasonable price.

23/08/2026: We will always cherish this restaurant, which I had already spotted from home while planning our road trip from Venice to Copenhagen!
As soon as we arrived in Denmark, we really needed to be pampered, and you delivered 100%.
Cozy is simply fantastic, located in a small corner of a small harbor in Fredericia. It serves delicious fish with two very friendly waiters. If we could, we would return immediately... but you're too far away :)
Congratulations, and keep up the good work.

The dishes are few to choose from, but on the other hand really delicious (and preferably a few delicious dishes rather than many mediocre ones) - so next time I have chosen what to try 😋. Because we will definitely be back... Attentive, professional and sweet service by the female waiters. Great work 👍. Rarely experienced better 🥳. We had to address a small aber dabei with a main course (insignificant detail for the experience), which immediately triggered an apology from the waiter for compensation for ordering more. But just a detail - which the waiter encouraged us to use. We got free coffee, which more than made up for a small insignificant detail 😊. Best recommendations 🙏

09/03/2026: Today we had a lunch reservation at your restaurant to celebrate our wedding together with my husband and my parents. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived.
When we entered, a waitress in her fifties with short hair immediately asked us, in a rather abrupt tone, whether we were planning to close the door behind us or if she had to do it herself. We had not noticed that the door had not closed automatically, so this came as a surprise to us.
She did not show us where we could hang our coats, so we brought them with us to the table. Shortly afterwards, she approached us again and told us, in a very rude manner, that we were putting her health at risk and that she might slip on my coat and “break all of her bones.”
We were shocked by the tone and the way we were spoken to. As a result, we decided to leave immediately and celebrate elsewhere. What was meant to be a special celebration for our wedding turned into a very upsetting experience.
I would strongly encourage you to look into how your staff interacts with customers, as this was by far the worst service experience we have ever had.

10/08/2026: Bendixens Fiskehandel is definitely worth a visit. You can get most fish and good homemade fish salads. The prices are ok. Note that the store also has a smaller fish grill shop that is open when the store selling fish is closed. A portion of Fish and Chips costs around the price is approx. 100 kr.
I myself use Bendixens Fiskehandel a lot when I want to serve lunch with a number of small fish dishes. Guests usually ask with interest where they can buy the tasty fish themselves(?) In Svendborg the answer is always - Fish is best bought at Bendixens Fiskehandel!
