26/08/2026: Mormors Lille Café was truly a wonderful discovery and one of those places you fondly remember long after your trip. From the moment you enter, you're greeted by a warm, intimate, and truly unique atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The decor is probably one of the most beautiful aspects of the place: meticulously crafted, original, and charming, with a welcoming style that truly reminds you of your grandmother's house. Every corner has something to admire and contributes to creating a unique atmosphere, far removed from the classic, modern, and standardized cafés. It's a place with real personality. We were also very satisfied with the food. The coffee was excellent and the cakes were truly delicious, perfect for a break while exploring the area. Sitting here, drinking a good coffee, and enjoying a slice of cake surrounded by this unique decor was a truly pleasant experience. The place invites you to linger and enjoy the moment, without rushing. For us, Mormors Lille Café perfectly embodies the charm of small Danish cafés: cozy, quaint, and authentic. Highly recommended for a relaxing break. We'd love to return!

31/07/2026: A charming little café! We visited Oma's Little Café while on vacation and found it very cozy and lovingly decorated. We had four slices of cake (strawberry and currant), two hot chocolates, and a pot of coffee. Everything tasted delicious and homemade, especially the cake. In total, we paid about 50 euros, which is okay for the quantity and quality, but also quite expensive. Nevertheless, it's a special, very welcoming place that feels like visiting Grandma. We would recommend it and would definitely come back.

12/08/2026: We're here from Germany for a holiday. Since we were out and about all day today, we wanted something to eat on the go and decided on pizza here – such a lovely person! He really made my evening. He was so accommodating and the pizzas were fantastic!! Thank you for everything 🤍

31/07/2026: We were here for my boyfriend's birthday, and I can't fault anything. The food came quickly, the service was nice and smiling. You order the food from your phone, so remember to have it charged 😂

26/05/2026: Ordered two cups of coffee on the terrace during a bike ride. Coffee of mediocre quality for the price of EUR 13.03. Sorry, but we won't be doing that again.

11/07/2026: What a rude and unprofessional staff. The food is nothing to shout about either, dry bread, very bad rum balls, and scones taste synthetic.

07/09/2025: Super cozy and beautiful inn with friendly staff and service. Really good food and a nice selection of breakfast with coffee and juice. The rooms are older but kept nice.

26/08/2025: Perfect for an overnight stay. The food and breakfast were decent, but the room wasn't the most modern. The motel isn't part of the hotel, but a building complex next door.

17/10/2025: 08.10.2025 My girlfriend and me who come from England were stopping overnight in Tønder at the nearby Motel near the main train station for 1 night having travelled from Hamburg, and we were heading to Copenhagen the next day. So I had already reserved a table for dinner at this wonderful little boutique hotel. When we arrived the 3 young ladies working kindly welcomed us and all spoke very good English as we cannot speak Danish. We were early for the booking and they did offer for us to be seated immediately which was nice of them, but we insisted on having a pre-drink in their nice bar. I had a Steak Tartare while my girlfriend ate a Pork Cheek dish. Then for dessert I chose the Lemon Mousse while the Cheese & Biscuit platter was also chosen. All dishes were beautifully presented on their plates and were very flavoursome. Yes this may cost a little more than most average priced restaurants, but we got good quality for our money at least. Which is why I highly recommend this place for all kinds of guests, even travelling tourists like we were on the above date when we actually visited. And if I had more money on me I probably could've chosen to stay here, but the Motel suited me on this occasion because of our needs to use the local trains for our travels.

29/09/2025: We are so happy to visit Hostrups Hotel that we have been here in all seasons and enjoyed it every time. A very welcoming welcome means a lot to us - we get it. We have stayed in rooms in the main building and side wing and have been extremely satisfied: quiet and comfortable decor and really good beds. The food is always innovative, looks inviting and is tasty. A walk around the streets of Tønder and a visit to a nearby small German town are part of our stay, after which it is nice to come 'home' to Hostrups Hotel and rest our legs before dinner and a drink.

09/08/2026: Top modern cafe, nice clean facilities and the most important thing is probably the nice fast service and the good food. We got the "Thin burger" which was made from good ingredients, the steak was made from "real" minced beef, beautifully prepared, and the best fries we have had in a long time. The cafe is located with the pedestrian street to one side, and easy parking right next to it. There are outdoor tables, with shady umbrellas. Since vegetarian food is also offered, it is a place I can easily come with my adult daughters. We will definitely be back.

02/08/2026: The delivery seemed upset and didn't have any fries, so we found a friendlier place. It was otherwise nice and had the option to eat outside.

27/08/2026: There's a parking area for campervans; the café staff will ask if you're allowed to stay overnight (it's tolerated, but wild camping is normally prohibited in Denmark). Opposite you can see Sylt (on a clear day). The café offers cake, coffee, etc. Toilets are available.

04/09/2026: Since my dining experience in Denmark was generally speaking very disappointing I did not have high expectations but considering the typical outrageous Danish pricing this was one of the worst buffets while traveling across Europe.

27/08/2026: We chose the buffet and Grimbergen double from the plate - a good combination. The buffet is constantly replenished and the individual dishes are nice, well-prepared and taste good. Small selection of sushi. Everyone should be able to find something they like. You can also put together a dish yourself from the many ingredients and have the chef fry it. We made the fruit salad with soft ice cream and it was also good. The prices are quite reasonable for the large selection. We will definitely come back. Claus, North Jutland.
