I've never eaten so cheaply and so deliciously; the food looked fantastic and tasted amazing. The waitress was very nice, looked great, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was good. It tasted good and looked good.

I went with a friend who has been living here for a long time and he said that this is a good place to try Danish food. Luckily he wasn't wrong, the service was really good and the quality of the food was also very good (prices weren't too high either). If anyone is visiting Aarhus and wants to try authentic Danish food, it's worth coming here!!

Delicious steak sandwich, with plenty of sauce 🥰🥰 The roast pork sandwich was a little dry, but probably because the slices were too thick. I think it would have been better with 3 slices that are a little thinner, instead of 2 thick slices

Food was good depending on what you order. The portion of size varies from dishes to dishes, but maybe we ordered the wrong dishes and it costed quite a lot. Atmosphere was quite great, but there was a construction near the restaurant so we had to talk quite loud

A real find!!! An American-style diner offering dishes bursting with flavor!! They are, admittedly, a bit "rich," but they are so incredibly tasty, it's amazing. The beef sandwich is so substantial, so surprising, so flavorful... It made my taste buds explode with every bite. The kamsteg is visually simple, but again, so delicious, the price range is reasonable, it melts in your mouth. This restaurant is great for its atmosphere, but especially for its food!! A superb discovery!!

The first time we were there we were positively surprised by the food, but yesterday, July 23rd, it was far from satisfactory so we're not sure we'll come again.

Barbecue of the highest quality. Freshly prepared and quick service. I highly recommend the pork roast sandwich and the Halkedrengen.

04/04/2026: Åben Århus is one of those places you always come back to. The atmosphere is relaxed, the beer is top-notch, and there is a genuine geeky love for good craftsmanship. The selection changes constantly, and you almost always discover something new and exciting on tap. 🍻 It also says something that Lucas Ørskov has practically made the place his second home. He reportedly drinks many jugs in there – and it's not without reason. Lucas brews his own beer and has even won silver at the Danish Home Brewing Championship, so when he approves of the level, you know the quality is high. 🍺🥈 A small practical note at the end: Remember to bring your own mug. It's part of the charm – and then you're ready for another good round.
