23/04/2026: There are places where you can feel the ambitions from the first bite – and then there are places where they are also fulfilled. Texture is close to being both. The evening started exactly as you would hope for in this league. The kitchen delivered with a sure hand: technically strong, well-composed and with a clear common thread through the menu. The flavors were right on target, and the ingredients were treated with respect. It is clear that the restaurant works in a field where high ambitions are not just talk. The wine menu followed suit nicely. The pairings were well thought out and lifted the dishes without taking focus. The service was at the same time present and professional – the kind where you feel seen, but never disturbed. All in all, an experience where the whole was almost right on target, which is also something other guests highlight about the place. But. Then came the dessert. And here it all fell apart. The first serving seemed decidedly unfinished – as if the kitchen had forgotten central elements. Both pepper and syrup were missing, leaving the dish flat and unbalanced. These are not minor adjustments in this price range – these are fundamental errors. The dessert was sent back as it should have been. The second version came… and was still not up to standard. The syrup was missing again, and as a icing on the cake, the waiter even took the accompanying donut out with him. It left an experience that felt both unfinished and a little incomprehensible. It’s a shame. Because when the rest of the meal plays at such a high level, the contrast becomes brutal. And in fine dining, the ending is not just important – it’s crucial. Textur delivers a strong and ambitious overall experience with high-level food and wine. But when the dessert fails so significantly – and twice – it drags down the overall impression drastically. In addition, you are a little disappointed when an otherwise flawless service changes significantly when you point out a deficiency.

31/03/2026: We had a truly fantastic evening, everything from the moment we walked in the front door was playing Max. The food, the decor, and not least the staff, especially our Icelandic waiter whose name I unfortunately can't remember. She made the experience completely complete, her knowledge of the food and especially the wines, surprised us very positively. We have frequented significantly more expensive restaurants in the world, also restaurants with the famous stars, and the young lady could handle them all. Very nice.

21/08/2025: Bromeo con mi familia y amigos, que soy un sumiller de helados autodesignado. Voy a probar un helado supuestamente bueno a toda costa. Tomo una generosa cantidad de cucharadas para tener una comparación en mi juicio de calidad y helado probado en muchos países diferentes ya - Danés siendo uno de mis 2 mejores junto a Italiano. Ahora - para mí este lugar es un éxito de marketing que no va junto con el sabor. Los helados eran sosos, no especiales y la tercera cucharada (anacardos) incluso carecía de cualquier sabor y tenía una textura terrible. El gofre estaba pálido, poco horneado y se rompió. . . no gracias!

12/12/2025: Always freshly made and super tasty ice cream of fantastic quality served by service-minded and knowledgeable staff who have complete control over the content and allergens in the different ice creams. Highly recommended.

12/11/2025: ✨ One of the best craft beer bars in Copenhagen🙃 No more need to be said. Great space and great atmosphere no matter how many or how few there are. It can get a little warm if it's completely full. 20 cold taps to choose beer from, and knowledgeable beer advice from the bartenders if you want it. Both booths/bench sets for large groups and seating for small groups ✨

08/11/2025: It was our first visit to Uncle A today – a completely random stop, driven by a voracious appetite – and it turned out to be a complete experience. The tasty, highly plated finger food was a real treat for both the eyes and the palate, and every bite was marked by care and quality. The service also deserves high praise; the staff were welcoming, genuinely friendly and made us feel at home immediately. Added to this is the cozy and inviting decor, which creates a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, where you want to stay a little longer. We are already looking forward to our next visit – thank you so much for a wonderful lunch experience!
