10/12/2025: As a Canadian here for work and who had his family visiting for a few days, we really appreciated this place. The atmosphere has a great vibe, cool music (70’s rock/pop), the food was novel and interesting (we got the 6 course option) and the service was the best I’ve experienced in Copenhagen. The server paired our courses with great wines. They also accommodated a 4 month old baby without issue. Highly recommend.

There are an average of 2 shows a day.
There is a nice cafe on site. Very atmospheric.
Good service and friendly (volunteer) staff.
Definitely worth a visit.

The service was very nice and the weather was also good, so we could enjoy the food by the canal. Highly recommended!
10/08/2025: The sandwich has high-quality ingredients, the focaccia is really well made, and the tiramisu is one of the best I've ever had. The wines are surprisingly excellent for the modest price. Attentive and professional service. I recommend it! 🇬🇧 ps. The only thing missing is the music!

10/01/2026: Our favorite store in Frederikshavn. Good selection of groceries, good opening hours and knowledgeable and dedicated staff. Free parking on the roof. The wine department has a lot of interesting bottles and sometimes at real bargain prices. Manual charcuterie. Like a Maxi in the middle of town.

I was looking for kebab and discovered a dish called Matador on the menu – even though I actually wanted to order the doner kebab (No. 46). It was absolutely delicious! The restaurant is very clean, and the staff are a very nice, welcoming family.
A place I'll gladly return to every time I visit Denmark. Highly recommended! 😍😋👌

04/02/2026: After a visit to Grenen we got hungry and ordered food at Jollehuset, the food was excellent, service was quick, and everything we got was very tasty. It was nice to sit by the harbor in May, there was shelter at the outdoor seating.
