20/06/2025: absolutely delicious on top of being beautiful. I am personally (unfortunately) a big beef lover but these meals were so divine I didn’t even want to say yes to the option to add a meat or fish. things I have been a bit wary of in the past blew me away with their preparation. the wine pairings were perfect and the staff were all lovely and very knowledgeable. I will be reminiscing on this meal for years to come !

02/04/2026: Fratelli usually delivers good pizzas. But when I order a pizza for 7:15 PM, I expect the pizza to be freshly made at the agreed time. Even though I arrive 10 minutes early and wait for my pizza, my order is not called until one of the employees sees me sitting as the last one waiting for my pizza at 7:25 PM and discovers that he has a pizza to spare. This suggests that my pizza was made 10 minutes before the pickup time and then it sat for 20 minutes before I even got my hands on it. So now I have cold pizza again. Practice!

01/11/2025: [English version] We visited Akropolis on a chilly Friday evening, hoping for a relaxing Greek dinner after a long week. Unfortunately, disappointment set in right from the start. Upon arrival, there was no greeting, no "welcome," not even a glance of acknowledgment. The staff member at the counter seemed more focused on explaining the cash register system to a colleague than on the guests waiting to be seated. After seating ourselves, it took quite a while before anyone came to take our order. When they finally did, there was still no warmth or friendliness to be found. We ordered calamari as a starter and a mixed grill for the main course, accompanied by a glass of house red wine and a beer. To their credit, the dishes were served fairly quickly, and the food offered decent value for money — perhaps the only positive note of the evening. However, a visit to the restroom quickly spoiled that impression. It was dirty, unhygienic, and carried an unpleasant smell — simply unacceptable for any restaurant. After finishing our main course, we asked for the dessert menu, which was brought to the table. Yet no one ever returned to take our order. After waiting in vain, we eventually decided to pay and leave. The farewell was just as impersonal as the welcome. No one asked if we enjoyed our meal, no thank you, no goodbye — just silence. Conclusion: Akropolis serves food that's fair for the price, but the service ruins the experience. Unfriendly, indifferent, and disengaged. Half a point for prompt serving, but otherwise a visit we'd rather forget. We won't be returning. After finding ourselves a seat, it took far too long for someone to come take our order – and here too there was no warmth or friendliness to be found. The food was served relatively quickly, and the quality matched the price – in fact, the only positive aspect of the evening. However, a visit to the toilet quickly changed the mood again: dirty, unhygienic and with an unpleasant smell. Not acceptable in a restaurant environment. After the main course, we wanted dessert and were given the card – but no one ever came back to take our order. After waiting a long time, we gave up and asked for the bill. The end was as impersonal as the beginning. No one asked if everything had been okay, and no one said thank you for the visit. Conclusion: Akropolis delivers food that is reasonably priced – but the service lets it all down. Unfriendly, inattentive and lacking in commitment. Half a point for the quick service, but otherwise an experience we would rather forget. We won't be back.

24/10/2025: The restaurant is so family friendly. The waitresses always have time for a dance or fun with the kids. The chef is amazing

29/12/2025: Very convenient for the main railway station. Lovely room and pretty quiet despite being on a main road. No option for meals other than breakfast but we found plenty of restaurants within a reasonable distance

28/12/2025: Our room was very nice. Small, but very cozy and perfectly adequate for our stay. The staff were consistently very friendly and helpful. We especially liked the central location, as many sights can easily be reached on foot. One point of criticism, however, is the breakfast. Unfortunately, the food was not labeled, so it was not clear which cold cuts were pork, beef, or chicken. Allergens were also not indicated, which can be difficult for guests with intolerances. In addition, pancakes and scrambled eggs were placed together in the same warming container, which made the pancakes smell strongly of eggs. The sound insulation in the room was also not particularly good — you can really hear a lot from the neighboring rooms. It didn’t bother us too much, but it is worth mentioning. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again.

01/11/2025: Incredibly nice surroundings. Fantastically delicious pasta dish with chicken and mushrooms with homemade bread. Large portions. Highly recommended. We will definitely come again, even though we come from far north.

30/12/2025: Long wait for 2 cups of coffee. Had to wait until everyone who came in and stood in line was dispatched before the coffee was made. We were 2 seconds away from leaving without the coffee. It can't be very good for the reputation that you don't make the coffee immediately when it is ordered, but have to wait for others to get delivered even if they came after you. We won't be back.

20/12/2025: This is a beautiful small gem with a great view of the harbor and Roskilde Fjord. The coffee and food is good quality and it’s a very cozy place with a nice atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the bun with cheese and whipped butter. They have their own mini bakery. The service is friendly, efficient and quick.

25/04/2026: Super good and fast service, nice surroundings that hint at a kind of western atmosphere. The hosts are fast, friendly and welcoming, with smiles and politeness in place. The food is overall quite okay, however the meat, which the place is known for, is pretty much the same in taste. Most of the taste is on the top of the meat where the herbs and bbq sauce are, but the meat itself is pretty tasteless as a whole.

11/01/2026: Nice and tasty Brunch. With what it should be. It was cold inside and it was definitely drawing in stars. You couldn't keep warm if you sat by one of the big windows.

01/01/2026: Amazing owner and staff! So helpful, in times of need;) The salad was particularly lovely, and ever so crispy. Would definitely go back!
